It really DOES cut the wind, even in freezing temps at 65mph. The only downside is that if you wear it on top of your nose (as pictured) it gets difficult to breathe... this stuff is a bit too windproof and does not let air through.

I’ve been through two winters with this. It is absolutely key in staying warm. Rain or just cold, it works. New Year’s day ride at 27 degrees was comfortable.
I wear it over the nose when very cold, but usually just over the chin. I even wear it in 50 degree weather, letting it settle just under my chin. It helps with wind noise too!

This works quite well. I've used it on days in the thirties and have been quite comfortable. The only problem is the one size is a bit small for me and it's a little tight around the back of my head and nose. Usually works best just pulled up to my chin. It does a great job keeping the wind out.

The band that goes around your face is not the most comfortable, but its great wind protection. And the extra long material covers your chest perfectly

Pro: warm and cozy, covers whole neck region, soft with great fit, 100% windstop. Con: If you're wearing glasses you cannot wear the baclave over your nose since your glasses will get fogged. Just wear it under the nose. This is not a flaw but part of the concept. A very nice piece of hightech fabric. Highly recommendable!

This product is quite comfortable and serves its purpose pretty well, although I don't feel that it keeps the cold off quite as effectively as it claims.
