Good Cooler Weather Boots

I've worn these the past two winters and are happy with them. They are very comfortable for riding and decent while walking. They have kept my feet dry during heavy rainfall and warm during winter riding (above 20 degrees F). My feet get hot when wearing them anytime above about 70 degrees F.

Snowboarding boots.

I wear size 13.5 shoes, and I got these in size 49. They fit well, except the leg part of the boots are thin, and difficult to zip up all the way. I was happy with them until I got home and decided to test them out on my '94 KLR 650. Even after adjusting the gear-shift lever ALL THE WAY UP, I still could not get the toe of these boots under it. The toe reinforcement shift pad on the boot was so far forward, my shift lever didn't even touch it at all. Try these on in a store before buying.

Excellent Boot

I've owned probably 6 pair of these boots. I wear them as a riding boot/work boot and around the farm boot. I'm in them probably 16 hours a day...7 days a week. Each pair has lasted me 2-3 years...it's a very durable boot. I've worn them in torrential downpours and remained dry and comfortable. Forget about taking several pair of boots on a trip.....I use them for everything!

comfy out of the box

These boots are great. Been wearing them for all-round touring and dual sporting for the past 4 years. Unfortunately, I just tore apart the sole while dirtbiking with a kickstart last weekend. The protection is nothing spectacular and I was prob pushing them farther than they were designed for. Now trying to figure out a good replacement. Oh- i wouldn't hesitate to walk in a shallow river with them. bone dry.

Alpinestars Web Gore-Tex Boots

The boots fit great. I wear 9 1/2 Wide and the 44 is just right. The boots are very comfortable on and off the bike. Water proofing tested only on one water crossing and it worked. So far, with temps in the mid 80ss, they have not been too warm. Easy to get on and off. I’m happy.

Great boots so far

Just wanted to chime in about the sizing, as it's hard to know which way to go when the euro sizes are US half-sizes. Anyway, I wear a US 10...pretty much every 10 fits for me, guaranteed. And for me, the 44/9.5 version of these fits perfectly in the foot area right out of the box (before any breaking in). So don't worry about them being too small. They are plenty roomy around the calf--almost too loose, although I'm on the skinny side at 6' 165lbs. But the Velcro around the calf area makes for loose/tight as needed. All in all these are highly recommended!

Alpinestars Web Gore-tex Boots

I shopped a long time for these boots. They fit perfectly. I ordered size 45. My size is 10-1/2 EE, almost 11 EE. At first they were almost too tight, but they did stretch a bit and now they fit perfectly once broken in. The grip on all kinds of pavement is excellent. The only thing that I have not tried is in rain, so I don't know how they grip on wet surfaces, but I’m not expecting to be disappointed. I'm certain they are waterproof because they are Gore-tex. I've worn these boots through-out the fall in New England. They keep my feet warm, but how warm in the summertime remains to be seen. All-in-all, I am very satisfied with these and would definitely buy them again. Thanks again to Motorcycle-Superstores for their fantastic customer support and pricing/return policies.

Great Boot, Dry Feet

I own two pairs of these, the first pair has about 60K miles on them and they are still like new save for the sole. I ride standing up a bit (BMW GS Adventure) and put the bike on the center stand 99% of the time and that has chewed through the bottom...Everything else about the boot is spot on, comfortable, warm (but not overly so) easy break in (walk in them for a couple of days) and they fit like an old friend. I got a second pair but am also getting a pair of S-MX5's as soon as they get them in my size (50!). Keep the service up and the prices low Motorcycle Superstore!

Stiff Competition

The boots I received were not the boots in the picture. My boots have a plastic toe shift protector and the picture in the website has a leather shift protector. What is style anyway? The boots are very stiff and after several long hours in the saddle still are not loosing up. The problem arises when I attempt to shift and because of the stiffness the gear shift lever has not un-cocked and therefore I miss a shift. I have to remove my foot from the gear shift or intentionally force the boot down with my toes to allow the shift mechanism to release and go to the next gear. Hopefully, this is a temporary problem. The boot is comfortable to walk in and the stiffness has the benefit of providing support on the foot peg that takes pressure off my feet on long rides. If I had known about the plastic piece I would not have purchased the boots.
