Great Boots! Good for my commute
These boots really give me piece of mind that my feet/ankles will be protected in a crash. They are comfortable on the bike and seem to be quite sturdy. They are not too hot on my feet and actually get a little cold when temps are 50• or below. They are easy to get in/ out of since I use them daily. They are a little squeaky and the little metal plate over the ankle will rattle a little when you walk after a few weeks, but it's no big deal. To get rid of the squeak I sprayed a super tiny amount of wd40 where the ankle pivots and no more loud squeaking. Best boot for the price I've seen. FYI if you are used to soft touring boots you will have to relearn how to shift and adjust your shift lever with these stiffer race type boots.

Oh...the squeaking.
If you can stand the squeaking, these are great boots - however, I would recommend finding a boot that doesn't have the cheap plastic to plastic front bracing. Maybe WD-40 would help.

great boots
The Gaerne G-RS boots are everything that I could want and need. Fit perfect, look awesome, and are very comfortable. They are definitely worth every dollar. The buckle system works great. The rear entry to the boot is a plus. Squeaky when you walk, but I put a drop of silicone spray on the area and no more squeak. Now they’re perfect. My hat is off to Gaerne. Great boot, great price.

Very happy with these boots. Fit better than I could have hoped. Have taken several day long rides, and boots remain very comfortable after extended period. Well constructed, easy to put on and take off. Well designed. Could not be happier.

Fits good . Whatever your boot size is then u should get the same size , thats what it will be . the carbon fiber looks good but wish i got black . they r easy 2 get on and off and they feel great when they r on . worth the price . 1st night out w/ them i got a few compliments.

Pretty happy with these boots
I spent the entire day at the track with these boots never having worn them prior, fully expecting to have to "break them in" but as it turns out they don't need breaking in. They were comfortable on my feet the whole day. I did loosen the buckles once or twice, but I think I just over tightened them to begin with. No complaints so far. One thing, and this is really minor is that one of the flashy metal bits on the ankle (which is purely decorative from what I can tell) is a bit loose, so it rattles when I walk. I tried tightening the screw but it doesn't really tighten any more. I'm pretty sure I can fix this with a drop of superglue or some such. I also want to say that I'm really happy having put this order through Motorcycle-Superstore. I got really top notch customer service from these guys. I'll definitely buy again here.

Great buy
I had been using the Gaerne ST Dry waterproof boot but since I started doing more track days last yr, decided I wanted a boot with a higher level of protection. The G-RS is a full on track boot at priced considerably below the competition.
The Pros: The sole really grips the pegs, I have an easier time hanging off in turns now that I don’t have to worry about my foot slipping off, Really easy to get on/off (rear entry). I get a good laugh watching other guys struggle with their boots as I slip mine on. Great looking boot with the typical high quality construction you expect from the Italians, particularly when it comes to footwear. Price, Price, Price, you get the picture! Cons: Mmmm.....Oh yeah, they are somewhat squeaky (Come on I had to think of something) Actually my toe on the left boot rubs a little when I walk and after a while get bothersome. Not sure if it's the boot or my foot though. Summary: Bottom line is I'm pretty damn pleased with them. BTW; I gave it 4 on durability only because I haven't had them very long (2 months) so can't really say how they’ll hold up over the long run, but my expectations are high.

Good Boot for the Money
I had a 120mph blow out and get off with these boots and the protection was excellent. In fact, I still use the boots because of how little damage there was other than the grinding down of the buckles. That being said, my one disappointment with these boots is how much they squeak when walking. So much so that people look to see what is making the noise, even at the pits at the track. Fit is a little loose but durability and finish are excellent. My Sidi's fit a little better, but for the price of Gaerne there is no comparison.

Great Boot - bit flashy
Boot fits and performs amazingly well, very stable and comfortable. That said the carbon gray boot is not really as pictured. It's metallic Gray and shiny...pretty flashy... a bit too flashy.

Get Them!
If you are in the market for some great riding boots, these are the ones you want. They eliminate virtually ALL vibrations and give excellent grip/stability. They are very comfortable; enough to be in them all day. They are very breathable. The rear-entry design is also a plus; very easy to get into. There is absolutely no ankle roll so you can be sure your ankles will stay straight if you go down. Worth every penny.

I originally purchased a pair of Sidi B-2's. It was a toss up between these boots and the B-2's, and I wish I had just gone with these in the first place. When the Sidi B-2's arrived, I was not impressed with the $235 purchase, plus the fit was very snug for my feet.. I wear a size U.S. 10 and felt that I needed an 11 because my feet kept falling asleep as I wore them around trying to break them in. But, on the other hand, these boots are as comfortable as my regular shoes! Some people say they don’t like them, and I don’t understand why. I've had Alpinestars, Sidi’s, and Teknic’s on and none of them compare with the comfort -- plus these have super ankle support.

Very comfortable boot, strong yet flexible. Ankle support is like a ski boot, but you can walk comfortably. Highly recommended. Only one slightly annoying thing, the zipper pull is flimsy. The zippers themselves are great, and the buckles are strong and wonderful.
