S-MX 1 Riding Shoes
I wear 10 1/2 in most shoes, ordered 10 in these they fit great and are very comfortable. The buckle is great easy on and off. They seem to be holding up very well after about a month of use. The price is decent considering what tennis shoes cost now for some of the upper end ones. Overall a great product, would recommend to everyone.

Good Boot - Not my style
There was no doubt this was a well made boot and had plenty of protection for a low cut boot. Fit was very good. The style of the boot was not for me and I ended up returning them. The Superstore was terrific with the return. I had a lot of trouble finding the right boot and went through several orders and returns and had no problem at all. Motorcycle Superstore is a great place to shop, has a great selection, good prices and a terrific return policy. I'll keeping coming back (I have stuff on order now).

Happy so far
I've had these riding shoes for about a month, and so far I'm very happy with them. They were completely comfortable the first time I wore them. The second time I wore them, I had them on for about 12 hours with plenty of walking throughout the day. They were very comfortable for the entire day. One of the best things about them is that they are not too thick at the toe, so shifts are easy. Some boots are so thick that it takes effort to get your toe under the shifter. Hopefully they'll prove to be very durable over time as well.

Comfortable shoe
Bought these shoes for a comfortable alternative to full boots for casual riding. Shoes provide excellent protection to ankles and heels. Very easy to put on. Shoes seem to be very well made. Fit is as ordered. Buckle system seems very well made and secures the shoes nicely. Great quality as everything Astar makes is usually top notch. I wear these shoes all the time, their as comfortable as a pair of basketball shoes. If they're not on my feet they are in my saddle bags on my Concours 14 all of the time. Well worth the money, you can't go wrong. Motorcycle Superstore is great as always.

I really like these shoes, easy on and off with Velcro and snap buckle, Light weight and pretty easy to walk around on when not on the bike.
Fit true to size and were comfortable from the first time I put them on.

Alpinestars - S-MX riding shoe
It is exactly as featured- it's a great riding shoe. It is simple to get on, and the latch system (instead of being all Velcro) will keep it on in case you dump. It has vent holes that get rid of body moisture as you ride. It's great for the warm and the cold. The fit is a half size more than your reg. shoe size. It's very comfortable and is great on the bike and or on a stroll.

Alpinestars- S-MX1
The materials, the stitching and the buckle closure are well made and are durable. I especially like the way they grip the ground and my foot pegs when riding - very secure.
The only complaint is that the right shoe fits tighter than the left. Both are the same size (maybe my right foot is a little bigger?) i've never had that problem with any other shoe. I would have liked to have returned them for a size bigger but I've already worn them some (and I was afraid the left shoe would be too big)! Anyway,I will break 'em in and maybe they'll stretch out some. I give it a 4 overall and I'll chalk it up to irregular foot size.

I really live in Mexico and temperature is hot here. These shoes are more comfortable than my sidi boots for a whole day of riding and having fun with your friends while still offering some decent level of protectiion.

Nice boots
These boots are fairly good boots. I think with their construction they will last a long time. The fit on these isn't great, but I'm not playing basketball in them. The clasp doesn't seem to do much other than secure the boot to your foot. It does nothing related to tightening the boot to your ankle, so the boot always feels loose. They feel fine once you're on the pegs and moving. I compared these to my ride instructor's A-stars One-O-One boots, which lace up, and his looked like they would feel better. These feel fine when walking around. They even feel good after an entire day of on/off the bike and walking around.

Nice shoe if you can get past the price
This is a nice shoe. It offers good protection while remaining very comfortable to walk around in. The closure seems a bit weak at first but after wearing them for about a month, I think it is going to work out just fine. The buckle is easily adjustable and the Velcro secures the lower portion of the shoe quite well. I’m not sure what the comments about the shift pad not being up to snuff are all about. My Husky has a bare metal knurled shift lever and my left shoe shows no wear at all. Alpinestars run a bit narrow. I have a wide foot so I went a half size larger than my tennis shoes and they fit just fine. If you are ok with the price you’ll not be disappointed by the shoe.

BEST BOOTS EVER
I bought these boots for my husband as an “I love you” gift. He loved them and said that they feel great and fit amazing. He said that in the 18 years he's been riding they are the best all around boot he's ever had.....I would totally tell anyone to get them. I’m even thinking about getting them in my size. Amazing boot!

Excellent shoes!
Very comfortable, I walk daily with them at my job, of course after 2 hours they felt a little heavy, but that's ok, because these shoes are for protecting my other shoes while I ride my bike. I definitely recommend.

Love them.
Comfortable, easy to put on/take off. People were saying they run large, but I think they are pretty close to true size. I wear a size 12 sneaker, so I ordered these in a size 11.5. They are a little snug, but not uncomfortable at all.Good shoe.

Alpinstars S-MX 1
Great quality shoes. I always wear two socks so my foot does not get sore. I usually have to put inserts in to take up shock, because I am an above knee amputee. These shoes had an excellent sole built into them. I bought these for safety because, around here in the spring, there are small round tiny gravel pieces mixed with the salt that they put down during winter. When you come to a stop with sneakers and put your foot down your sneaker will slid around like you got marbles under your feet. These Alpinstars S-MX 1's grab the road and you do not have to worry about the marbles left over from winter. The Alpinestars are as comfortable as high dollar sneakers, only much more rugged, and long lasting.

Finally a boot that's true to its size
Great fit - this boot actually fit snuggly unlike other brands (Sidi and Gaerne) which were a tad loose. Super comfortable for riding and walking. The stitching is perfect and the materials used seem durable. The rubber sole offers great grip and vibration dampening on the pegs. No issues at all with getting the boot under my shifter and the low cut allows the boot to swivel up and down easily without discomfort. It would be nice if the buckle system clasped a little tighter, it almost seems like the buckle is more for show than function. Overall a great boot.

awsome riding shoes...very comfortable
I own all black S-MX 1 shoes. This shoe is very comfortable even when it's brand new, it breaks down fast and now its even more comfortable. It also looks pretty good........ Thanks for those people who leave some feedback about the shoes, it helped me to pick a good one. A++++++++++++

S-MX 1 Riding Shoes
I love these shoes! The fit was kinda weird at first. I didn't like that I couldn't adjust the shoe so that it would fit better. So I just put on an extra sock and it was awesome! I would suggest you buy a half size smaller than you would normally wear. Out of this world product! Astar has another winner in this street shoe! Awesome!!!!!

S-MX1 Riding Shoe
It was worth a shot. The boots/booties/shoes/high tops are really cool. Under the right conditions they could be ideal. A hot summer ride in the city with friends. Some lunch. Perfect. But these are not for heavy protection or long hauls. But that is probably obvious. What is not obvious is that they tend to run a little large. But not in the usual way. My Motocross alpinestars all seemed to run long but narrow. These are wide as well as long. The single buckle works well but only if you have the exact right fitting shoe/boot, whatever. The buckle itself has a fairly limited range for sizing and adjusting. So be sure of your size and wait until they go on sale. Like next summer...perfect.

Alpinestars - S-MX 1 Riding Shoes
Great design and super comfy. Be careful, they run a little bigger in size. I ordered size 10.5 , and when I got them, they were size 10.5 on the shoe all right but size 11-11.5 on my feet. They replaced them with no problem. I just had to pay for the return shipping. So just go half a size smaller. Super fast shipping unless they don't have it in stock. Very happy with the product. I recommend it to everybody. A little bit on the EXPENSIVE side but overall satisfied.
