David D Las Vegas,  NV Pretty Good, BUT... I have had these boots for about a year. They are VERY comfortable, EXCEPT, the tongue hurts my thigh if I line it up straight. I have to push the left tongue out to the left and the right tongue out to the right in order for the boots to not hurt when I stand up. There is no shifter "Wear Patch", so the shifter is wearing a hole through the boot! This is not acceptable in a "motorcycle boot"!!! Wake up Alpinestars! If you do not know how to apply functional design to a product please do not make it. At least offer us a glue on wear patch or something to compensate for poor design. /RANT

Scott Morrison,  CO Great boots I'm an MSF instructor and I needed a pair of low boots I could wear riding and running around on hot asphalt for hours at a time. These fit the bill perfectly. Very comfortable on or off the bike and the venting is fantastic. Riding home from the range I can feel the breeze flowing right through and cooling my feet. The only problem is the soles. They seem to come apart after a while, but I put a lot of miles on these and they are fine for all the use they give me.

Rod Chanute,  KS Update after nearly a year of use These boots are still ubber comfortable. I've worn them DAILY, ALL DAY, since I bought them about a year ago and they have been a comfy shoe, just disappointed in the sole quality, it seperates from itself (must be in two layers), as well as the shoe material. I got online to order a new pair and I see the price has increased, that is really disappoiting. I will now be looking for another pair of boots for daily use. If you aren't going to use them as an everyday shoe, highly recommend them, did I mention they are comfy?

Zack Bloomington,  IN One O One Riding Shoes They’re very comfortable to wear around for long periods of time. They look great and breathe pretty well. The only complaint about the boot was the loops that hold the shoe strings are constructed with very thin material. I’ve not had any problems with it so far though. Great riding shoes. they are worth it.

Dan Santa Rosa,  CA Not for me I'm amazed that a hundred bucks for boots does not get you leather. These are vinyl uppers and get hot quickly; ventilation is minimal. Besides that, they are nicely styled and the ankle strap would seem to offer some protection if it stayed in place during a crash. Soft sole.

John Levittown,  NY Decent Boot Nice protection for those times it's not practical to wear the real boots. These go on and off fast, and seem to be tough in the areas that normally get roughed. A couple of minor assembly issues, but I'd buy them again. Great hot weather boot that you can walk in.

Roy Carr Port Byron,  IL Good fit/Great feel I'd been wearing a pair of high-top Nike basketball shoes when riding because I have a problem wearing boots. I don't like heels on my shoes for riding and my calves are different sizes. These are as comfy as my Nikes, but provide much more stability without clamping down on my calves. They are comfy enough to walk around all evening in Eureka Springs after a full day of riding through the mountains!

Bill Polewarczyk Lancaster,  MA good shoe I bought these and have only a few rides on them, so my experience is limited. When I first tried them on I thought they were uncomfortable, but after commuting to work and wearing them throughout the work day, they started to feel better on my feet. After a few day of wearing them, it was almost like wearing a pair of sneakers. So I must say, don't get discouraged with the way they feel until you have worn them for a few days. The only thing I don't like about them is the lacing. The lace loops don't seem like they are very durable, although I haven't had a problem with one. They just appear to be a weak link. The laces themselves are about 10 inches too long. Even with tying a double knot, I am fearful of getting them caught on something. So I bunch the laces up and put them under the flap.

Charles Estes Wasilla,  AK Alpinestars- One-O-One The strap wasn't put on very good, it needed to be centered better, and that is my only complaint.

Rod Chanute,  KS Bought to wear daily, am not disappointed! I ride my bike to work about 75% of the year and like a riding boot for the slimmer fit and extra shifter padding. I don't like switching shoes when I get to work. Took a chance on these One-O-One shoes and have to say I am glad I did. I've been wearing them for 4 weeks straight and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I even used them on a 5+ mile hike with zero wear indication and my feet felt great when I was done. The shoe laces are twisted style and appear that they will actually last as long as the shoes. Traction is good, even when wet. They have little side vent which I didn't see the point until I raised my toes while riding and it felt like air-conditioning under my feet, very nice. They are a great looking shoe/boot for everyday wear and seem to go good with about everything. The a* logo is no more noticeable than the Nike swoosh or any other logo on brand name shoes. If I get a year out of them, I'll be happy, but I think they'll last longer than that with even though I am wearing them daily.

beer786 bay areamca,  CA solid boot Solid boot, go buy it. It’s what you want to wear when you need protection but don’t want to look like a wanna-be racer. You can wear them around town too because they are uber comfortable.

Ruben Gonzalez Santa Barbara,  CA Great un-motorcycle boot(shoe) If you're like me and feel silly wearing racing boots when you're not a racer, these are great. Snug and comfy. They're like big ol' high tops for riding. I definitely feel safer wearing these over my other boots. I'd say I'm happy with this purchase.

Kristal Houston,  TX Alpinestar Riding Shoe This is a nice sturdy boot/shoe. It looks like a tennis shoe but is very hard like a boot. It runs small so I would order 1/2 size up. The soles have these circles that really grip the foot pegs. It was a little ackward at first because my shoe wouldn't slide into place. Once I get them broke in they are going to be a good riding boot. And of course...they look GOOD!;)
