Jesse King George,  VA Great riding shoes... but wide feet, beware. I bought these shoes knowing they were made for narrow feet, hence the caution in the subject line... but I have what my family likes to call bam-bam feet! I bought one half size larger and they've broken in perfectly. I can feel that the shoe is a tad narrow, but the break-in really helped. This riding shoe is comfortable for walking around and also comfortable on the bike. I like the zip-up/Velcro setup, very easy on/off... and the added padding around the ankles feels nice too. All in all, it's a great riding shoe that I would definitely recommend!

Matthew los angeles,  CA These shoes look great! Wore these everyday for almost a month and these riding shoes are great for everyday street riding and they look great! I wear these everyday to school and they are very comfortable and my feet feel very safe. The usual comments I get are "Nice basketball shoes". The only complaint I have is the side zippers are kinda fragile. I zipped them up once and the zipper got out of track. I would definitely recommend these shoes/boots to anyone that rides.

Mark L. San Francisco,  CA Alpinestats Octane Riding shoes I purchased the Octanes because I wanted an easy-on, easy-off shoe for riding. I didn't want a boot since my suit has shin armor already and it gets a little bulky when wearing a boot. I selected the Octanes because they didn't have laces. The fit is true to my shoe size. I have wide feet and these are comfortable. I can't speak of the durability since they've been holding up fine so far and I haven't wrecked. But, they look like basketball shoes and they fit and feel great so I'm happy. I just hope they hold up!

Jeremy Denver,  CO Sweet Shoes The shoes fit nice and feel good. A lot of boots and shoes are just too bulky, but these are just the right amount of protection without all the extra material.

Mark L. San Francisco,  CA They're "High Tops" So I ordered the Octane's because I wanted an easy shoe for my commute that didn't have laces. These definitely fit the bill with the velcro and zipper closures. I wear a 9 and ordered a 9 and they fit fine. They feel like stiff soled "high top" basketball shoes, very comfortable out of the box. I was disappointed that there's no ankle "armor," just padding. I guess the velcro flap is the protection. The heel is well protected with the plastic though. And the toes have protection from hard plastic also. I gave them a Neutral rating for durability since I just received them and can't speak to how well they hold up yet. The Features I was also semi-neutral on as I wish they had some type of ankle armor. The price was too high for what I got. I feel like I could have paid half the price and got the same type of protection from a cheaper boot. At least these things are super comfortable, I just hope they last.

Thomas Round Rock,  TX Kick ass shoe I got these shoes a few months ago. I was looking for a nice summer shoe that covered all the right areas and looks good too. What I love about these shoes is that when you are wearing pants no one can tell that they are motorcycle boots. They look just like regular shoes and feel like one too. As for riding they are comfortable as hell. The first week I got them my buddy and I went on a 3 hour ride and didn't have sore feet. If you want the best riding boot get these, it will be one of the best decision you can make.

Steve Chicago,  IL Great incognito boot I bought these "shoes" because I wanted a safe riding boot that didn't look like a boot. I've worn them to work a few times and everyone comments on my new basketball shoes. I thought the fit was a 1/2-size too big, but nothing to worry about. Very happy with my purchase.

Karla EL Centro,  CA Great!!! I bought this riding shoes for my husband I was worried about the size I got him but they fit him great and they were his actually shoe size. He loved them and says they are really comfortable to ride. He is very pleased with them and says they are not stiff like other shoes are. So in the end great purchase.

Ed royal oak,  MI Nice shoes I was surprised how well these fit. I ordered what I normally wear and it fit perfect. The shoes are surprisingly comfortable. I even wore them out when I wasn't with my bike. I wear them all day at school every time I ride there.

Shane Carter Denham Springs,  LA Octane riding shoes Overall they are doing everything I bought them for. They were a little tight at first but broke in quickly after wearing them all day for 2 days. Where the tongue area meets the shin was somewhat stiff but that went away after a week. They feel good while riding and the toe box size made for easy shifting. The only thing I would change is to make the graduation at the heel a little more square so that your feet feel more solid against the pegs. I've got a lot of compliments on them and they seem built to last.

Brandon Dillsburg,  PA Alpinestars - Octane Riding Shoes Love the shoes. They run big, so the size/fit was not the best. Other than that I have NO COMPLAINTS. I will order another pair as a spare in a smaller size.

DBurke LosAngeles,  CA Great Boots I got these without trying them on, but I am happy. They are true to size, meaning I could probably buy any Alpinestars boot in my size and it would fit. Very comfortable...easy to get on and off. Zipper on one side with Velcro is very easy to deal with when changing out of my leathers at work

Clarence Corter Woodinville,  WA Alpinestars Octane Riding Shoe I love the shoes, they look great. They're still white too thanks to the shoe shift protector that slips over the toe of the shoe. Best buy yet Thanks.

Chris G Simi Valley,  CA Octane - white After reading some reviews that this would be pretty stiff the first few days that it can be hard to shift, I went ahead and used them during my MSF course. They performed very well- no problems at all. Just make sure you have long socks. They took about 4 days to break-in that walking around work felt more comfortable. They feel a bit wide on my 250R (and I bought 8.5!) but nothing really major that I have to adjust anything on the bike. I will definitely buy them again!

Mark Redondo Beach,  CA Great shoe I bought these as an alternative to wearing my Timberlands, and they are better than the Timberlands in many ways. There really is no comparison; this shoe is much, much better than any non-motorcycle boot. And in comparison to most other motorcycle boots, this is the best value you can get. The price is great, and these shoes look normal enough that you could just wear them around as regular shoes without anyone looking twice. I highly recommend this shoe, and I am probably going to get a second pair in a different color.

Sturmmann Pasadena,  CA Excellent entry level shoes These riding shoes are great quality. The fit is much too stiff and several hours of riding and walking in them hasn't softened them up. The ankle may be irritated when strapped too tight. Wear them lose around ankle to remedy this problem. Overall this is an excellent entry level shoe.

Greg Panek Jacksonville,  FL Durability not so Durable Purchased a pair of these boots back in May. I thought awesome boot, nice fit, finish then in September things started going wrong. My left shoe which I shift with on the outside seemed to crack and within 2 weeks the shoes were no longer usable because the left shoe separated from the tongue. For the money spent on the shoe I would think they would have done more research to prevent this from happening.

Chris Dobbins Bethesda,  CA Great riding shoe I got these because I wanted a pair of better looking riding boots to wear when I needed to have normal looking shoes (such as when riding to work). They are comfortable, perfect mobility and feel for riding a sportbike, and look like regular shoes. I think these are the perfect compromise when you don't want to slap on a big pair of SMX or SIDI boots.
