Tyler Kingwood,  TX Teknic Freestyle Boots These boots have a great feel to them. They are solid and make my feet feel more secure on the pegs. My ankles and feet would be very well protected. Just make sure you get the right size. The only drawback is that they hold in a bit more heat than I am used to, but still it is better than riding around in flip-flops. Ride safe!

Brad Gilbert Amherstview,  ON Nice boot / fit small After much consideration of different manufacturers I ordered the Teknic boot. First impression was that the boot appears more of a dark grey than black. I normally wear a size 8 but this boot was way too small. Boot is very narrow also. The boot is solid and well padded internally. The laces provided were too short to lace to the top. The leather was very supple and although too small, the boot felt comfortable around the ankle. Overall a nice boot but order at least a 1/2 size larger than normal.

Mike Palmer Eustis,  FL Put to the test I broke them in on a 466 mile 18 hour trip. The ankles dug in a bit at first walking but the right socks seemed to fix that. It rained the first day of the trip and my buddy got soaked in a different style of boot but my feet remained bone dry! I would buy the again in a sec.

Keith Owens Cumming,  GA Suprisingly very good. I ordered these boots based mostly on price. Not because of lack of money, but because of an awards card from work where I could not add money to for nicer boots. I'm usually an Alpinestars kinda guy having their awesome SMX Plus racing boots and loving them. I read some reviews on here and thought “oh well” and gave them a shot. Well, it was a pleasant surprise to me on the quality of the Teknic boots. Liked them so much the convertible jacket is next on my list. Think twice before dropping more $$$ on other brands...this is good stuff. I know, been riding for 34 years, since 11 years old.

Randalinn Pittsburgh,  PA Awesome boot! I agree with other reviews, don't be turned off by the price of these boots as being "cheap". They cover the ankles very nicely and have plastic ankle bone protectors that cover the areas mostly likely to get hit. The best part of these boots is that they look like real work boots and not "moon boots" (very manly looking). The only down size that I can see is that I couldn't get them in half sizes, so I went with 11 instead of 12. I usually wear an 11 1/2, I wish I would have went with the 12 but its not that big of a deal to make me send them back.
