Moon Boots
The boots feel a bit clunky like moon boots and though I wear a size ten and ordered them in a ten, they feel more like elevens. I gave them to my brother though and he says they are wonderful and feel great so I let him fill in the ratings.

I love these boots!
I own 2 pairs of these boots; one pair for riding to work and wearing all day, and one pair for weekend rides. Very comfortable and without the feel of wearing ski boots. I ride a sport-standard and it took very little time to get used to a thicker boot. Highly recommended!

Good boots
These are heavy duty for sure. They felt stiff at first but have since broken in and become comfortable. They are heavy, as in weight, but it's not something I really notice while riding. I ride supermoto but didn't want full height MX boots and these are perfect.

I have had my Field Armor Chukkas for about a month and am well pleased with them. I ordered the wheat color and they look pretty good. My shifter has left a black smudge on the left toe but it was expected. They still look very sharp and have gotten me a few nice comments. The fit seems good and are not bad to walk in. Bike Week is coming up and I will do a bit more walking then so that may be the real test. Either way they are more comfortable than my GP type riding boots as far as walking any distance. Nice job Icon.

These boots are great :)
Wasn't sure what I would think of these boots. I'm quite pleased with them! Overall quality appears to be very good and they're quite comfortable. The laces move easily in the eyelets for an even snug fit. The strap is far better than another pair of boots I have. It allows the boots to be extra snug. They seemed a bit stiff at first (understandable) but break-in nicely. If I needed to buy boots again, I would be very tempted to order another set. :)

Icon Chukkas Rock!
I've had these boots for about a month, month and a 1/2. They took about 3 days to break in just wearing them around the house. The ONLY problem with these boots were the laces which I have already had to replace. Don't let that stop you from getting these though...new laces cost like 50 cents. Anyways I would totally recommend these to anyone. Way more comfortable than any other boot I tried and they have excellent protection.

I like the color and the style.
I returned my 11.5s for a 12 then they fit fine.
The return was easy. the thing I don't like is that the boots don't bend in the middle so it feels like I "clomp" around when I walk around. They're for riding though, not walking.

Great Motorcycle boots!
I am in the Army so I have worn a couple different boots over my lifetime but these ones are great. Tough, still easy to move around in them. I am true size 8 and the boots are snug fit, good for riding but I would have bought larger for hiking boots. (This is just for comparison). Because of the mesh panels cool enough for summer riding. I think it is a good buy and the boots will last for several years - great value!

Looks / comfort / durability
I've logged over 12,000 miles in these boots. Construction is solid with hard plastic protection at the heel and toe. The interior is well padded. The toe is rather thick and can be difficult to slip under the shifter. The buckle over the instep is a nice touch to cinch down a secure feeling. I had to order a half size larger than normal for a comfortable fit. The boots do feel stiff when new but break in quickly. I found the boots comfortable wearing them all day not only on the bike but walking in them also, probably due to the chukka low cut design which offers good ankle flexion. The soles can be a bit slippery so watch when you put your foot down in the wet or gas etc. These boots are not waterproof! The boots look good riding either just in a pair of jeans or chaps. They clean up nicely and after a year of riding mine still look brand new.

But I gotta shift
These are probably great boots for riding cruisers or bikes other than sport bikes. Problem is I have a sport bike and I cannot get the toe under the shifter lever. Too thick in front. Great solid boot but not for me and my sport bike. I can't wear them when riding. Kinda defeated the purpose of buying them.

Chukka Boots
Comfortable right out of the box. Solid, and feels like my foot will be protected. Get lots of compliments, people who do not know they are for riding think they look awesome. One big complaint, the shifter shoe (left foot) has a plastic/rubber piece on the top, but good luck actually using it. These boots are so thick; there is no way you are getting your toe under there, so I have to shift with the edge of the sole. This sucks because if you don't hit it just right, the shifter peg catches the leather stitching and after a short ride, I noticed I was damaging the leather. I ended up putting some epoxy on the damaged leather, (where the perf leather meets the side leather). I'll probably glue a piece of leather or something so I don't make a hole in the boot. Makes you wonder if anyone over at ICON actually tried to ride in these.

Solid and comfortable
I wear a size 14 and am usually concerned about how large shoes will look and feel, but these boots are right on the money. They are well-built, sturdy and also a conversation piece to boot (pun intended). I can tell that they offer excellent protection and provide a nice, non-skid surface for shifting. I'm very pleased.

After working these babies in, you can't beat the fit and durability you feel while wearing them. Before picking these up I was riding in my regular tennis shoes. Oh man, what a difference. Sturdy and solid comes to mind when I think of them. The shift pad makes shifting feel effortless, and besides that, it's a good looking boot once you hop off the bike you don't look like something out of Mad Max. Heaven forbid something should happen I'm not too concerned about my feet. This is my second Icon piece and I must say, they do a good job.

Great STREET riding boot
I've had the Icon Field Armor Chukka Boots for a little over a month now. They are a little stiff out of the box, but break in nicely after the first couple of wearings. For the portion of the foot and lower ankle they cover, they protect very nicely. (Keep in mind that this is a chukka style and doesn't cover very far up the shin.) They feel very substantial but still light weight. They also allow for a decent amount of breathability (not waterproof, and probably not good for longer rides in temperatures below freezing). As far as the styling goes, I really like them. They aren't all "Johnny Racer" like many of the track-style riding boots, and they aren't all "Harley Cruiser" either - big clunky leather boots. They are what they're advertised to be - STREET riding boots. Good secure fit, the clamp across the front of the foot/lower ankle keeps the laces from straying into places they are not supposed to be, and the little shifter gripper on the top of the left shoe works well.
I think these are great riding boots if you want more of a "street" style than a track style. I would highly recommend them.

Do you know the feeling of putting on an old pair of boots after you have not worn them in a while. Thats the same way that i felt when i put these boots on for the first time. They feel great and are not that heavy. Mobility is great and having the latch keeps the laces from getting thrashed. The only complaint that i have would have to be the metal latch gets scratched easily.

These fit well and are comfy. Take note that they are sized a little small. I'm normally an 11.5 and these are really snug in size 12. If your unsure order a size up from what you normally wear. Not waterproof.

Won't find much better for looks and safety
These boots don't make for the best looking footwear (none do IMO) but they're about as good as it gets when it comes to protecting your feet without having to go full on power ranger. The fit is great and I feel like my feet are sufficiently protected should an “incident” occur. I fully recommend these boots if you're not ready to commit to full racing boots and you want more protection than a tennis shoe.

Second pair of icon boots felt a little stiff at first but I wore them all day with a little hiking between riding and they were surprisingly comfortable, Kind of weird that the crossover strap is below the laces (on my old Icons the strap closes over the tied laces to keep them secure) I have to double tie the knot on the laces to keep them from untying and I’m worried about the loops getting caught in my shifter or brake pedals.

Very satisfied.
I would buy these boots again. I wear a size 10 1/2 boot, that’s what I ordered and they fit perfectly. The first couple days I was tying them too tight and they were rubbing my leg around the top. With the snap closure, I didn't need to tie them as tight and now they feel great. The toe is thick but I just repositioned my shift lever. They are very comfortable walking in also. If you want a boot to walk real long distances, you should probably buy something else. If you want a boot to protect your feet, you should seriously consider these.

Excellent
These are the best motorcycle boots I’ve owned, bar none! They fit true to size (at least for me), and are very well put together. I own an 08 Triumph Sprint ST, and these boots work well with my shift lever without any problems. For those that say they are too big, remember, they are "Street Riding Boots" not Moto GP or Racing boots. If you're used to wearing those Alpinestars racing/cowboy looking boots, then yes, these will seem big to you. But, if you do lot of everyday street riding, these are the boots for you.

Great Aggresive Boot
The only complaints I have is that the buckles are plastic and that the insole isn't very soft. But a $6 Dr.Schols insert and you're good to go. The buckles are replaceable, but I would have preferred metal. Other than that, they look great and give a ton of protection for your feet.

Great construction, but waaay too gigantic unless you re-engineer your shifter around the boots. Shifting was nearly impossible using anything but the lip of the sole of the boot. I didn't believe the reviews on just how big they were. Well, they weren't as big as described: they were larger than that. I sent them back 15 minutes after receiving them.

These are very good looking and very easy to walk around in. They took a few days to break in but now are very comfortable. Seem to run slightly larger but you can just put in a dr. shoals and you're good to go. Great traction, my feet never slip on pavement. I recommend them for street use.

Big and Heavy, but feel good
I've only had the boots for a couple of weeks, but I've ridden in them a lot so far. First and foremost: they have a high toe. If you currently wear thinner boots (or sneakers, tisk tisk) these will feel very different. You may also have a tough time using a toe shifter until you get used to them. Fortunately, the sole is a bit wider and you can flip the shifter up using the side of the boot. Second, they are heavy. The plastic protection around the back of the boot and the thick sole makes the boots a little heavier, so you'll get a leg workout. It's not a huge amount, but if you trek around up and down stairs all day, you'll notice the difference. Other than that, they're very comfortable and breathe well.

This is the first pair of riding boots that I ever owned and I must say that it is ROCK SOLID!!!! It has very nice design. I feel very secure when I’m wearing them. A little bit stiff at first but after 2 weeks they were fine. Comfortable enough to wear to work.. Good feel for the shifter too. I would recommend getting half a size up from your normal sneakers. Haven’t really tried riding in it in cold weather but I think they would do fine. Good price, Good buy, Good Store!!!!!

Bullet Proof
Right out of the box these boots scream durability, and protection. The heel, toe, and ankle areas of the boot are rock solid. There a bit stiff at first, but once broken in they are comfortable enough to walk around in all day. The only problem I had with these boots is that they seem to run a bit small. But aside from that I highly recommend these boots for anyone looking for great protection and style at a good price. Thanks MSS

The Chukka
I originally ordered the Field Armor Boot; however, after walking around the living room like a robot for a half hour without the ability to bend my ankles I exchanged them for the lower cut Field Armor Chukka. Good decision! The fit is great and same as the usual size that fits me. Tough tire like soles, hard cast toe and heel caps make this boot as functional as it is good looking. Received a lot compliments at a recent riders course. Would definitely recommend and buy again myself.

nice
It took some time to break them in because they were so stiff. During the hot days, these boots are great because they totally breath & keep your feet nice and cool. Cold days...wear a couple pairs of socks. And be sure to tighten the screws because you'll definitely lose them.

FINALLY, a boot that fits me!
I'm a woman that's new to riding, and have found it very difficult to buy protective gear that fits me properly. Most of the women's gear is for petite ladies and well ... I'm not. The fact that these boots come in the smaller sizes is a great feature, as I wear a women's 8.5 wide shoe. The Icon - Field Armor Chukka Boots in size 7 fit me perfectly! The instep buckle does a good job of finishing off the fit, as well. As others have mentioned, the toe box is rather tall, making it difficult to fit under the shifter of my VT750. I like these boots so much, I bought a "spare pair", to have on hand, should these get wet, and need time to dry. It also gives them an extra day to "air out", after those long, summer rides.

These boots are still a bit tight but are beginning to feel better with wear. I recommend anyone to go at least a half size larger than the normal footwear. Had I not done this, the boots would have been much too tight. I'm very pleased with the finish, durability, features, and cost benefits. I recommend these to anyone considering a boot that will look good and perform accordingly.

Icon Field Armor Chukka Boots
I have been wearing them for the past couple of weeks while riding on weekends and also to and from work during the week. I found them a little heavier than I had expected, but they offer great protection and look good. I am not sure if it was the designers intention, but the mid-foot buckle does a great job of keeping the laces from flapping around in the breeze and coming untied. It is a nice touch whatever the reason. The shifter interface panel seems to keep the toe area of the boot from getting scuffed up and should add some life to the boot. All in all if you are in the market for a good pair of boots you might want to take a look at the offerings over at the Motorcycle Superstore.

Great quality boot with good support but stiff at first. My only issue is I wear a size 12 and the boot barely fits in to shift gears. If you have a large boot size you might want to go with a boot with less bulk in the toe area.

Great Boot
I really like these boots. I agree with others, they were very stiff when I first put them on and thought there was no way I was going to keep them, but after several hrs they started to loosen right up. The protection they give is also great. Sizing might be a 1/2 size small...I normally wear a 10 1/2 which is what I ordered however I can only wear thin socks with these boots, not my usual thick ones. Overall I would not hesitate on buying these again.

I’m a new rider; I purchased these boots for a riding class, took awhile to get used to the ankle restriction, but works great, and use them on 8 hour shifts and they are still comfortable. I feel like my feet and ankle are very protected in this boot without having to sacrifice a lot of mobility.

Overall, I'm very happy with my new boots. I had to make minor adjustments to my shifter to accommodate the thick toe. The heavy construction is great for protection, but it doesn't allow for much feel when shifting, so trust your instincts.

Chukka Boots
Boots have been great. Were a little stiff at first but broke in quickly. They seem well made and the mid foot buckles works very well at holding the boots securely to your foot. The toe is a little thick and took some getting used to for shifting but not a problem now. They also breathe quite well, I would definitely recommend them.

I like it
The boot is a bit stiff at first, but once broken in, is quite comfortable. Good, solid construction. Its thick at the toe, and I am not able to get it under my shifter. Forced my hand to get the toe and heel shifter for my bike (just a little sooner). Very happy with the purchase.
