Jack Sault Ste. Marie,  ON almost perfect I can wear these boots like a well worn in set of sneakers. They are super comfy. I have had them for 3 riding seasons and they have held up great. I use them a lot and put on 15,000 miles a season. The only issue is the zipper. The zipper lock wore out so the zippers slowly unzip over a short period of time. If you walk they unzip even faster.

Jeff Hartland,  NB Great Boot I wear a 9 and based on comments between "these fit spot on" and "these fit small get a size bigger" I went for a 9.5, fit is great! Construction is top notch. Yes they are stiff especially for walking and yes till they are broke in its a little difficult to get under the shifter but I was expecting all that given the armor in these boots. I love the style! They breathe a decent amount of air for warmer temps but still aren't too bad in colder temps but the rain soaks fast so don't expect an all weather boot.

Gary Riverdale,  UT MY ADVICE ON THE ICON FIELD ARMOR BOOT The biggest concern I had with this boot after reading many reviews was the fit of my boot. Do I go a half or whole size larger... I went full size; but should of gone half. The heal pocket on the right boot digs into the back of my leg... this is definitely a quality issue. The break in of the boot was fast, the boot being bulky did not affect me, like it did others, the boot is light and my feet stay dry while riding. All around the boot is awesome, I get a lot of complements and people always ask where they can get a pair.

ridingswtich Ephrata,  WA Icon - Field Armor Boots These boots are awesome. They are well ventilated due to the mesh inserts and give you complete foot/ankle protection. Boots were very uncomfortable at first - stiff and pinched in ankle area. So I put a coffee mug in heal area overnight which solved the problem. Once broken in this boot is worth every dollar.

Tink Pickler Donde Esta,  NM Field Armor Booties Great booties, for being made in China. These booties are worth nearly every RED cent. If they were made in USA they would either be drastically overpriced, or perhaps a poor quality (probly both). After taking 3 good weeks to ride them in having adequate protection is still a top priority, but never takes a backseat to comfort. After trying on the Icon Accelerant waterproof booties in a dusty shop...it was easy to decide to go with more serious protection after suffering previous injuries. Meant to be walked in for a few hours, they have the zipper to let more blood flow in case they become a little "tight". They may not have a steel shank but the ventilation these puppies offer is surprisingly perfect. Would buy another pair if these erode too quickly, but they seem quite durable. Another satisfied customer who'll continue to purchase from a great Superstore!

Duke Waikoloa,  HI NICE Had to adjust my pegs for better shifting. I mostly use the sole-lip to shift instead of the boot top because it's a pretty bulky boot, but I can get completely under the shifter if I want. You'll lose a bit of feel with this boot because it's stocky. However, if you had to go down, you'll be totally thankful you were wearing these. They got the look & the full-on protection right with this boot.

Mitch Bedminster,  NJ Protective but less comfortable... These boots seem to offer the most protection I could find at this price level. Toe, heal, front of ankle are well protected, however ankle side protection is missing! I find these boots not comfortable when walking but fine when riding. Otherwise I think this is a great boot for the money!

Harley Anderson Warriors Mark,  PA Good all-around boots I have had these boots for three years and 40k miles, riding all summer on three bikes. They are very durable and will likely last another couple years. The only drawback is, the material where the shifter comes in contact with the boot is starting to wear and the one sole looks to be separating. I also have worn these boots a few times in the dirt on a dual sport ride and offer great protection about 90% compared to a normal motocross boot. Not very waterproof but for the price, durability, and style they are one of kind, buying another pair soon just in case they get discontinued

Jorge Andres Cantor Nino Bogota-Colombia,  BC A LITTLE BIT DISSAPOINTED This is my very first pair of motorcycle boots, despite I haven't tried any other product out there, I can say these ones from Icon have some issues a motorcycle boot shouldn't have: BAD POINTS a. No reflective material b. No or poor ankle protection c. Bulky, I had to change my gear shift/rear brake pedals settings, (have to be careful using rear brake you simply can´t feel the pedal) d. You Feel like a robot when walkin'. e. Feel pain in some zones of your feet. GOOD POINTS a. Brand b. No GP look so they are great with jeans. c. Protection (except ankle) d. Good for the city

Roger Reese San Francisco,  CA ... The gloves suit the purpose in which they were intended and are made very nicely. The gloves fit well and can be worn inside of other gloves without pulling the innards out of heavier multi-layered gloves. They second as a very nice pair of general cool weather gloves which are light and can be stored in a small pocket.

Katie K Manhattan Beach,  CA Best boots on and off the bike Although these boots are stiff at first, I didn't have any trouble breaking them in. The cut and construction leaves no leather-on-leather pressure points and they are so light you will feel comfortable walking in them for long periods of time. I wear these to music shows, they are slip-proof and comfy and will protect your feet and ankles in a crowd (or a mosh pit). My only issue is that I wear these boots so frequently I have worn down the super-cool yellow treads on the soles (that are very noticeable when riding, a safety feature that the pics don't show) yet I have no qualms buying another pair after >3 years of heavy wear. Bottom line, my Sidi's that were $100 more are collecting dust in my closet

matt La Grande,  OR Still testing this product I am still testing these boots , however I do have over 400 miles on them and so far so good . There is a large Icon emblem on the heel that is bright yellow, being a Harley Sportster rider I could not have that so I masked and painted both of them Tamiya semi-gloss black, this turned out very good. Walk ability seems good, but I have not walked far. These boots are a good choice for someone who wants something different from the rest!

Flent M. Adlean San Diego,  CA not too bad Actually these boots are a lot more comfortable than I thought they would be. You an wear them about anywhere on or off the bike. I even wore them once driving my jeep to pick up my bike (not recommended), they were a bit too stiff for the ergonomics of a car throttle system, but thats not what they were made for so whatever. one thing I found is that the ankle is stiff enough to prevent you from getting the toe under the shifter so I use the side of my toe to shift, but its not that big of a deal. Overall great boot.

Jonathon Jax,  FL Stylish and Sturdy I bought half a size larger as most talked about. They were pretty tight at first, but after two decent length rides they have stretched out very nice. They are very bulky, and I am still muffing shifts every once in a while, but the bulk means protection to me. I am curious to see how the buckles hold up as they feel a little flimsy, but right now they are nice and comfortable. And so far, they are great in the cold and the heat. Great boots.

Ray Boise,  ID Great Boots These are great looking, well made boots. They have lots of adjustment with the lacing, and adjustable buckles, and are very quick to get in and out with the side zipper feature. I wear them even for the short ride to work, as I can quickly change shoes when I get there. The only drawback was that the front of the ankle cup area was very stiff and narrow, causing rubbing on the ankles. However a softball shoved in the heal of the boot and let sit for a couple of days stretched it out nicely, And they now fit quite comfortably, and are even ok for limited walking, though definitely not designed for walking distances.

Rob Fuquay Varina,  NC Awkward and clumsy I sent mine back after trying them on and walking around in my house a little and sitting on my bike (Ducati ST3) and realizing it would take major mental retraining to be able to shift with these boots. They feel awkward and clumsy, despite all the zippers and laces and buckles. I feel like I'm wearing ski boots. I could have tried them for a few weeks, but then I wouldn't be able to return them so factor that into my review - I didn't actually ride with them on but felt instinctively that these boots were not for me. And the kicker was when I rapped my knuckle around various places on the boot, the bone that sticks out on the inside of the ankle has almost no protection - my knuckle rap actually smarted through the leather.

Matt Murray Waterville,  WA Very comfortable and look great I decided on these boots after looking at a few different models/brands. They are amazing looking and feel very secure and comfortable during rides. Only issue I have is that the boots are armored to the point that you do not have a lot of dexterity when your trying to change gears. I used to ride with regular leather shoes so that may be the issue. I still feel these are one of if not the best boots for any rider that wants the best armor they can get at a very reasonable cost.

Gerard Calexico,  CA Icon Field Armor Good looking boots, quite chunky, bulky. Had to reconsider my shifting skills, boots are thick and require a higher angle in order to fit between footpeg and shifter. None the less boots are great. Just a matter of getting used to them. Nick Seattle,  WA Excellent! These boots are the real deal. They are HEAVY though. But overall I really like the quality and fit. The zipper on the side is an added plus so you don't have to undo the laces to take them off or put them on. The straps are very sturdy and latch with firmness and precision. At first they felt quite bulky but after breaking in they feel just fine. I ride a Stratoliner and these fit tight under the gear change lever but no major issues. You might have to adjust you bike's gear pedal to make this boot fit underneath. These are high quality boots and I think they will outlast me and my bike!

KT Austin,  TX Icon Boots This boot has pretty good protection for your feet and ankles. The only down side to the boot is that the boot is so wide, you may have to adjust the way you shift. Tom Waterford,  MI Nice boots! These are very solid, nice boots. As some others have stated, they are stiff. After a month they are breaking in nicely. I usually ride in steel-toed boots, so the transition was not that great. I did have to raise my shifter as they are thick at the toe, but a minor 2-minute adjustment. I would recommend them. Nick Mill Creek,  WA Great boots!! These really grab your legs when tied up. I am using it even when I am not riding to help breaking in faster. They are not warm in 40 (or less) degree weather, and I am yet to ride in warm weather to see how they will be. Overall I really like the looks, fit and finish and weight. They're not as heavy as I thought. This boot seems very tough but it might be a little too thick on the toe area for those who like to shift using toe only. When new, these boots are grabbing the sides of my ankles pretty good and that bothers a little but I'm hoping it will get better as it breaks in. Excellent job Icon!

J Evans Newport News,  VA Field Armor Boot Review I was initially reluctant to purchase this boot because of a review I read that stated this boot breathes very well, but because it breathed so well it wasn't recommended for winter riding. I read another review to the contrary. I liked the style of the boot so much and settled for the latter opinion and I was right. I have yet to pull out my wool, thermal socks with liners and I ride every morning 80 mph down the highway in 40 degreee weather. These boots are extremely comfortable, although heavy. And, the large toe on the boot doesn't obstruct my access to my shifter as no many reviewers have stated; I was shifting just fine in less than a week. Excellent job by ICON.

Kaz Long Beach,  British Co Takes a little getting used to They are comfortable to walk around in and if you're in a hurry you can just buckle the straps and not worry about the shoe laces. I wear a 10 in regular shoes and the 10 I bought fit fine. They do take a little bit of getting used to on the bike. They are big which makes shifting hard at first. After a week of use a screw that holds one of the straps fell off of. Luckily they had an exact replacement at a local hardware store.

Guy East Wenatchee,  MT Cool Riding Boot This is a cool boot. Getting used to it took me about a month (these boots make me feel like Master Chief from Halo, they are big!). You will have to relearn shifting on your sportbike because of the thick toe area (i.e. you have to consciously point your foot down under the shifter to get a good shift). Takes some getting used to. Other than that, pretty sweet boot. Would be awesome for Supermoto as well (not racing, just pretending you are racing when riding on the street).

Bruce Baker city,  British Co Field Armor Boot These do run small, very hard to shift. Tight around the sides of the boot. Kind of a let down. :(

Fed Hoboken,  Prince Edw Great build quality, but beware of shifter.... Nice snug fit with great support, great build & quality, feels very solid like it would provide protection in a fall, and comfortable to walk in. ****One drawback is the thickness of the sole or front/toe section of the boot makes it hard to shift. I have to play around with my shift lever to see if I can fix this.****

Mike San Francisco,  CA Awesome Boot! I initially got this boot because it looked great and my other boots weren't very comfortable to walk in. I wanted something that worked a little better as an everyday boot. The boot has great ventilation and outstanding support. There's no way these boots will come off your feet unless you want them to. They are great to walk in as well. They are a little heavy, could use a little more padding on top of the left toe and take a while to break in. Shifting is a little difficult at first. O

JC '07 R1 Granbury,  TX Not for street bikes! This is a great looking, well made boot. The boot is a size small, so if you wear a 10, order an 11. However, the toe and the sole are TOO THICK, making it difficult to adjust the shifter on my R1 so that I'm not having to lift my foot off the peg to shift properly. My only fixes are to shave down the sole, install expensive rear sets, or buy a different boot.

Brian Stationed in Okinawa , Japan,  CA Field Armor The boots run small so you’re going to have to go up almost a full size. They are very comfortable but they are to stiff for my taste. You can’t shift with this boot unless you adjust your shifter which can be a drag if you wear different kinds of boots when you ride.

Richard Beaufort,  Nova Scoti Great Boot These are really good boots. They have good ventilation but do run a little smaller than normal size. I did have a little problem at first with shifting but after a few days I never gave it anymore thought. Also there are some small screws that hold on the straps and I have had a problem with them coming out, I retighten them ever so often but not to big of deal.

T Mitchell Cairo,  AZ ICON Field Armor Boot Very comfortable to walk in, and gives good feeling of protection. Toe is a bit high as I have to use the side of the boot to shift. Used in cold weather and had no problems, vented well and kept cold air out.

Chris Bowling Green,  CA Icon Field Armor Boot This boot is well made, of high quality, and very comfortable when you get the size right (I'd recommend a full size over your regular size). My only complaint is with the Frankenstein-like thickness of the toe. I can just fit it under the shifter on my V-Star, but the only way I can shift my V-Max is by using the side of the boot. This works, but it's clumsy. I just measured, and from top to sole it's 2 1/2 inches thick. Buy accordingly.

ncp808 Lihue,  FL Icon Field Armor Boots Looks and feels great. The boot is thick and after adjusting the shifter still have a difficult time shifting. The shifter pad on the boot is set on the center of the toes serving no purpose. Very comfortable but not for rainy days, vents really well.

Harris Monterey,  PA Field Armor Boots Great boots and comfortable. Boots run smaller than standard size, recommend ordering a half size larger. I had to adjust my gear shifter because of boot thickness.

scott braman albany,  Nova Scoti icon field armor boot Great boot, as stated else where, sizing is small! I wear a 9 1/2 sneaker, and generally a 10 boot, no way in these. The 10 kind of fit, but it was snug, almost to snug. Was going to just try and break them in. But went back for a 10 1/2 worked great. You may have to adjust the shift, I have a mix of Ducati's and Japanese sport bikes with a Vmax thrown in. I can shift comfortably on all with out adjustment. The vmax has a pretty radical rear set and I can shift that without issue. The 10 1/2 see

John Virginia Beach,  NC Icon Field Armor Boot Great boot, great styling! Ordered size boots that I normally wear and fit great, no problems. Only thing that I don't like was that the toe is too thick and therefore most will have problems fitting under the shifter, but I doesn't stop me from wearing them. I just shift with the inside edge of the toe instead on the top.

Glenimus Seattle,  TX Field Armor Boots It's hard to shift gears with the OEM rear sets. Great styling and has a very durable and secure fit. Should order a 1/2 size more to get the right fit. Overall it's a great pair of boots for the right price.

drdrae Bellevue,  Prince Edw Field Armor Boot Slightly smaller than standard sizing? Consider ordering half size larger. This is more important if you'll be using these a lot for standing/walking vs on the bike. Had to clock my shift lever a touch as these boots have ample toe protection.

Matt G. crownsville,  Nova Scoti buy bigger than needed... This boots are not sized well. Be sure to buy at least a 1/2 size bigger than what you normally would. I NEVER wear anything size 11 and a 10.5 was WAY too small... Also, plan on adjusting your shift lever as the toes are quite tall and very hard to move under your shift lever to shift up. They vent well, which might be a problem for colder climes, but surely a benefit for hotter areas.
