I've owned top-of-the-line motorcycle boots by Bates, BMW, Sidi and others over the past 35 years (even an excellent pair of Roadmans). These are, without a doubt, the best quality, best fitting, best looking, most functional and practical (thank you, Gore Tex) boots I've ever owned and worth every penny of their suggested retail price. I purposely bought them a little large (Size 48) and wear thick wool socks. The added size give my ever-expanding feet extra comfort.

These boots are very fine quality and look outstanding. The construction is very well done and the sole is very nice as well. I wear a 13-D and the 47 fit fine like my SMX 5 boots in this size. The 48 (13-1/2) might have been to big especially after the boot stretches out with age. The zipper flap and zipper work very well. The diameter of the top is comparable to the SMX 5 They could use more ankle protection on the inside and the heel and toe could be a bit more reinforced.
