As I've read in other reviews, the shoe lace loops have to be redesigned on these boots. My 2nd ride in them, they got wet, then the next time I tried to put them on, one of the loops simply disintegrated. Had to return them and get buy a different boot.

Really enjoyed these for the first two months I rode in them, but then the shoe lace loops on my right boot broke on the right side. Had the boot repaired but then the left side of the boot had one loop break. They're sitting in my closet now gathering dust. I wish the lace loops were made with better loops, metal or leather. I would give them a 5 star if that was the case.

Sweet boots, my second pair of Icons. I'd buy a third if needed. Stylish as well as comfy.

I really love my original version of these boots, the high top basic boots, and a lot like Doc Martens in look. So I figured these would fit as well. The basic fit is good, but a seam inside really wailed on my ankle the first day. I'm wearing thicker socks, at least until they're broken in. I'm not too crazy about the lower top as well. But my feet are hard to fit, and these basically fit, so I'll stick with them.

Pleased so far. Fit and comfort for new boot is good! Not had long enough for durability but if it changes will update review. I wish they were on sell like the icon 3 were ;-)

The down side. The tongue on one of the boots was short by a few inches. Lacing up made it tolerable at the cost of feeling awkward. Next the loops for the shoe laces started to rip. I had one busted and then another one ready to bust. Returned them to Icon and then had a replacement pair sent to me. The new pair had the SAME tongue issue. One shorter than the other. Returned THAT pair to Icon still new in the box.

I've had these boots for about a year now, and so far, so good. They are comfortable, offer good protection (one fender bender later) and still look pretty good. I should get another season out of them, at least. Considering the reasonable price, these were a good buy.

I purchased these boots one year ago. I ride everyday that it's not raining, so I have the boots on. These boots fits great, polishes up just fine and looks good with anything you wear. One down fall! The boots have only two metal eyelets the rest of the shoe string goes through cloth loops. After tying the boot up over and over the boots out last the loops. I have reseached every shoe that I have purchased since then. I will NEVER buy any shoe with that feature ever again!!! PERIOD!

I just got these in the mail today--I won't be keeping them. They just feel a little too tight and rub against the heals. I have a pair of Bates combat boots that are more comfortable than these... (size 13) They looked awesome out of the box. So if you're wondering if they look as good in the picture as they do in real life, don't hesitate. Great looking boot, just not very comfortable on my hooves.
