Overall, I am happy with these boots because:
1) My feet are warm in the Winter down to 18º so far!
2) My feet are dry from rain and snow in a downpour!
3) I feel very protected with these boots
4) They were a good value
5) They look good
6) Easy to get in and out of
7) Lifetime warranty
8) Fit my wide feet!!!!
9) True to size
Cons:
1) Not comfortable to walk around in very much
2) A bit heavy/bulky
3) May interfere with your pegs

I liked the boots right out of the box. Sturdy boot and the lacing system is neat. Real easy to crank them too tight. Best to get them snug...close the Velcro lined flaps and let the lacing system loosen up a bit. Hot boots on a hot day but if they were ventilated they would not be waterproof...! Broken in a bit more and they will be a great boot. We'll see how much a value they will be after I take them on a dual sport torture ride!

After my first day ride I had serious doubts about these boots...the lacing system was uncomfortable on my shins. However, my second ride with them was actually an 8 day tour. They proved to be very comfortable by simply leaving the lacing a bit looser. They are very sturdy and well-built, offering good protection. The soles offer excellent grip. They worked well in the rain, not leaking a drop, and kept my feet warm in temps that ranged down to 30 degrees with snow falling. They are OK for walking around (a bit clunky due to their heft compared to lighter touring boots, but they are sturdier). They fit true to size.
