Great boots especially for the money. Great fit and looks. A little stiff at first. Like the shifter pieces on top of the left boot. Should protect the boot from premature wear by the shifter.

Bought these boots a half size larger than my regular size and glad that I did. Had tried on another style Icon at a dealers and figured I could bump up a half size...wasn't wrong. M.C. Superstore had a great buy on the Standard and ordered same. They were stiff at first fitting but only took a couple wearings to find more flexibility in the leather uppers.

They were very stiff, hard to break in. The shift lever interface ribs don't quite line up with the shift lever, so I have a black rubber mark on the tan boot that I ordered but wouldn't be a problem in black I guess. Overall a pretty good boot but I surely wouldn't pay MSRP.....they're a $40 boot.

Nice boots but the sizes run small. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and ordered a size 8, but they were too small. I reordered a size 9. Very comfortable to wear and look great.

Good boot, a little bit of break-in time. I really only have two gripes: 1. The laces are crap. The first time I tightened them, they began to unravel. 2. I got caught in a downpour, they got soaked, and when they dried, there are water stains on them. However, my feet were dry.

Nice Boots
The Icon Standards Boots are a nice pair of boots. Takes a few days to break in. I like the stiff ankle support, just what is needed in a riding boot. They run a little small, just enough to want to remove them after a few hours of wearing them. They don't breath too well either, I noticed my feet look like prunes when I remove them. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I really like these boots, I wear them approx. 4 days a week. I bought them on sale for so this made them a bargain in my opinion. Well constructed and comfortable, as I am accustomed to wearing this type of footwear. The laces do seem to be lightweight (as noted earlier by other reviewers) but allow for loosening boot quickly, heavier laces my take more work to loosen boot for removal. I would purchase again.

Good Purchase
I have about 600 miles on my icon standard boots. They are work boots / riding boots. So, you can expect some break in time. Also, the tan boots look very construction like, so expect you white collar buds to ask questions about them. I took the advice of others and purchase 1/2 size larger. I normally where 9.5 D's - so the 10's fit perfect. Grip is good at stop signs, and for work boots they are comfortable. The $39 purchase price is well worth it.

I love everything about the boots, however the soles began to come un-glued after wearing them the second time I had them on my feet. I wanted to have them replaced, but you no longer carry them in stock. Very disappointing. So I had to glue them back together myself.

This is my second pair of these boots, I bought them as a spare pair, and little did I know I would need them so soon. Those double layers of leather are not cosmetic! Buy them ½ size larger than your normal shoe size. I found them to be very comfortable, well made, and look great, I put a light brown polish on them, {there a little yellow}. I wish they had speed laces on the top but that’s a minor issue. I’m completely without any reservations recommend them

I ordered them a half size bigger after reading they run a little small. The fit is great and they are comfortable. I have only had them about a month so not certain as to the durability, but they appear to be made really well. I would recommend them, especially at the price.
