High quality, no break in.

I just finished a 600 mile ride with these brand new books. They did not need any break in period at all. These boots are very comfortable, seem very durable and have protection in the right places. They are also easy to get on and off if you don't mind velcro. I wear a size 8.5 - 9 in a regular shoes. I got the size 9-9.5 in this boot and they were a little big. I bought a cheap pair of Dr.Shoal padded foot inserts and the boots fit perfectly now.

Great Riding Boot

I did the research and found the older version of this boot. They were everything I wanted and only 250 bucks; unfortunately, someone chose to put the GoreTex name on them and the price jumped $100. Fit is fine, I am 6'5" and over 300lbs so no loose ankle or calf. There is room in the top for my pants with a little velcro exposed and a perfect fit with the pant leg out. Get TALL socks and be warned they are stiff to say the least when they are new... so be careful with your first few up-shifts.

Great, wish 1 inch taller

I was surprised, after reading & YT vids, how detailed the Italian craftsmanship is! I'm proud this $/detail is still affordable with respect to comparable boots. Fit is true to size for average HTW. Leather stretches/break-in will provide contour. Thanks to MCSS for great support & solutions.

Thank you SIDI

I am very impressed with these boots! Stiff upon receipt, but after broken-in, they are very comfortable! Easy to put on and take off and the sizing is comparable to my normal shoe size. Performance: traveled in torrential rains for hours and my feet stayed dry; dug my way out of 8-10 in. of mud and the boots came through like a champ; traveled through difficult terrain and the ankle plate saved me from a sure break when the bike fell. Looking back, I would pay double the going rate for this boot.

Sidi Gore-Tex Boot

So far the most comfortable boot I have purchased. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. No problem with the fit. Usually you need to try boots on, these fit very comfortably. They cover all of the areas from the knee down. I would recommend these boots to anyone.

Replacing with essentially same boots

My original On-Road boots were purchased in 1999. Over 12 years, I worn them for about 140,000 miles. Comfortable and ALWAYS stayed dry. Since the soles and Velcro have seen their better days, I replaced with like kind. Best recommendation I know of. Expensive but a great value.

2nd Pair, never buy any other !

I bought my first pair of Sidi On Roads about 15 years ago---fantastic waterproof, comfortable. Finally wore them out after ~150,000 miles on 3 different bikes. Got a second pair--same excellent quality, worth every cent.

Boomerbiker

I've always worn waterproof street boots and wanted a boot that provided better ankle protection and was easier to put on and take off and did not have laces. You just cannot beat the quality and comfort of the Sidi. They were comfortable right out of the box, easy to adjust and absolutely watertight. I highly recommend this boot. It will not disappoint.

Finally a real motorcycle boot.

Boot is perfect. Easy to put on, covers all of the areas from just below the knee. Comfortable. I wore this boot in 100 degree weather with no discomfort and felt no heat from the engine. If you want a motorcycle boot which will satisfy all of your needs, get this boot.
