Puma Super Ride Boots
For perspective, I am posting this after about 2000 miles with these boots, on a CBR600RR and a VFR Interceptor, in a combination of canyon riding and slab commuting. The Puma Super Ride model is comfortable and, in my case, fits true-to-size, meaning that the good advice you usually get about Puma boots- buy them a size bigger than your normal size- does not seem to apply to this model. The size 14 I purchased is a true size 14, and slightly big. The boots do run a tiny bit narrow if you have a wide foot but should be fine for anything short of an EE width. Walking comfort with these boots is pretty much on par with a Puma athletic shoe- they are quite comfortable. Not 50 mile hike comfortable, but not bad either. Styling is a subjective matter, but I have had a lot of positive comments, mostly from non-riders, frequently along the lines of "I didn't know Puma made kick-a@@ motorcycle boots like that!" While I will continue to rely on my Puma 100V2's for aggressive canyon rides and the track, these new Pumas will definitely replace the Sidi Vertigo and A* SMX4 boots I use on my daily commute- they're very good so far.
