Steve Henry Danville,  KY TCX - X-Cube All Purpose Boot These are my first pair of real motorcycle boots and overall I like them. They are comfortable to ride and walk around in. I gave them a 3 for fit because the top Velcro strap was too short and would not stay fastened. I fixed this by adding another piece of Velcro to lengthen the strap. The other thing I noticed is that on my DL1000 the shift lever hits above the shifter pad on the boot. I've been caught in the rain a couple of times and the X-cube boots kept my feet dry. I haven't had them long enough yet to know how they will last but if they hold up well I'll probably buy another pair.

sam kingsport,  TN Great boots at a great price The boots will make you walk funny for awhile, they are very stiff. They have great protection and are what a motorcycle boot should be, "something to protect your feet in case of an accident." The size is about a half size to large so order a half size to small. The shift toe requires getting used to. Overall I like the boots and think they are well constructed and designed.

Case Costa Mesa,  CA TCX x-cube boot: highly recommended - excellent product, excellent value Style, fit and value are all top notch (5 stars). I gave them 4 stars for comfort because you have to wear tall socks or the top of the boot chafes your shin. This is a minor quibble, and boots are completely comfortable with regular tube socks. The boots are substantially more robust than regular shoes (more stiff), are comfortable on the pegs and have good feel when shifting/braking. Venting is mediocre but that's to be expected with a boot like this. I wouldn't want to walk around in them all day but they are plenty comfortable enough to do a grocery run or errands. And when you get off the bike they look cool with jeans. Size 10 and have wider feet; the size 10 boots fit great. I would definitely buy them again.

Dan roanoke,  TX TCX x-cube boots Very good boots...well put together, good comfort. Great boot for the price. The temps here are in the 100s with high humidity, the boots are great with the high temps, and my feet don't over heat! No fatigue on longer trips either. The shank and heel are perfect. Off of the bike they are comfortable for walking and wearing all day at work.

Fred Stonington,  CT TCX X-Cube I bought these shoes hoping they would be great like all the other reviews and I wasn't disappointed. They took about 20 minutes to break in and once they did they were very comfortable. I normally take a size 9 and like others stated they do run a bit big. It worked out great because I was riding in some cold weather and the extra room was good because I was wearing thick socks. Even with normal socks they still fit great, just need the laces a bit tighter. Got caught in a few rainstorms and my feet stayed dry.

Anthony Miller Prescott Valley,  AZ They'll make you sweat! They fit well and are pretty comfortable once you put in a gel insole. They don't however breathe at all. Even after a short ride your socks will be soaking wet. Take my advice and spend the extra money if you can on the version with the gore-tex lining. You'll thank yourself in the end.

JO New York,  NY TCX - X-Cube Very happy with this boot. I did not want a boot that appeared as though I was just beamed in from outer space. It has a quite discreet tennis shoe appearance and comes up a good ways above the ankle. You can easily cover the top of the boots with regular jeans. The footbed feels nice and solid. Quick lacing and very secure on the feet. I find them very easy to walk in if I loosen the top a bit. I wear size 13 Addidas; in general, size 12 - 13 depending on the manufacturer. I ordered size 12.5 and it was a perfect fit.

Chris Dayton,  OH Great All Round Boot!!! This is my first pair of riding boots so it was a bit cumbersome when shifting at first. But, after a few rides I adjusted to the feel of shifting with the boots. The boot is very comfortable and sturdy with the right amount of flex. I feel well protected when riding with them. In my opinion this is the perfect all round boot for just about any kind of riding. Only complaint is that they can get hot after a while in warm weather. Wear a 12, ordered a 12 and it fit perfectly! Can't go wrong with this one!

Chris Knittel Tucson,  AZ TCX X Cube Very comfortable boot. Here in Arizona its hot. I was hoping there would be more air flow to keep my feet cooler. Not so much. The boots are still nice and comfortable and I'm glad I bought them. They are a nice boot for the price.

Doug Asheville,  NC Between a regular boot and full race boot I would say these are between a regular boot or shoe and a full on track boot. They are stiff but not super duper. They will not feel like regular shoes though. Make you walk a little funny. Has a little bigger heal than I thought but not much and almost flat on bottom. They are a little thick and it made shifting hard at first but I got used to it. Excellent construction. I have been in the rain and did not get wet feet at all. A little warm but not overly so. Have road in 60 to 90 so far and still comfortable. Have dragged them while riding in a few close calls and they hardly scuff. I like that pants will go over them and they don't stick out much. If you are used to track boots these will feel lighter and less stiff. But if you are used to riding in sneakers then they will feel stiff and bulky. But don’t ride in just regular shoes! Fit true to size. Recommended.

Jody Adams sanford,  ME Perfect boots I have tried several pairs including the Teknic Thunders and just couldn't find a pair that was comfortable or decent quality. These fit great and broke in quickly. Order true to size and you should be ok. They are wide but that's exactly what I needed. Great for the price.

Mike Lake Jackson,  TX Good boot for the price...Little Big This is a good boot and fits similar to what other people said in their reviews (little big). If I had it to do again I would have got a 1/2 size smaller. Maybe even a full size. Outside of the size issue, I really like the boot. It feels really stable and doesn't look bad at all.

Steven Lacey,  WA Incredible boots This is the first pair that I've bought over the internet and I could not be happier. These boots are really good looking and more comfortable than my regular shoes. They took about an hour to break in, kinda felt like steel boots when I pulled them out of the box. They feel super durable, really tough but definitely a lot of dexterity. Would definitely buy again.

Bob Toronto,  ON Look, but will they fit My major issue is that the ankle protector plate is positioned too low and the top of it rubs my ankle raw. It's not too bad when riding, but painful when walking. I have very average feet, 9.5 average width so it shouldn't be me. The boot looks great, and fits ok. If you are a half size you’re going to have to go up as they only offer full sizes. The level of protection looks good for a shorty boot, it have quite stiff uppers and good ankle protection if you can suffer wearing it. I have a set of TCX race boots that fit perfectly and are actually more comfortable to walk in. If you like these try them on at a store before you order them.

Roberto Beltran Belmont,  MA good buy After riding with sneakers for my first year on my CBR F4 I decided it was time to get serious. These boots were on sale and they seemed much better than sneakers. I am 5'8'' 180lbs, they fit me well, grip the road very well at stop lights, and they actually improved my riding position, it allowed my leg to rest at a more comfortable position and this allows me to ride longer without problems. Overall I highly recommend it.

Greg Robinson Long Beach,  CA TCX X Cube Boot I've had these boots for a couple months and I like them a lot. Did not want a full on racing boot. These have lots of protection for toes and ankles and are comfortable to walk around in. Fit true to size.

Troy Harris Marion,  OH TCX boots I bought these having never seen a pair in person. They look good and fit well even though I do have WIDE feet. Seem to be well made and don't appear to have any obvious spots that are going to fall apart lol. My only complaint would be that the velcro strap for strapping down the laces could use being a inch or so longer.

Drew Waltham,  MA First impression and sizing I wanted a boot that would provide more support than sneakers, but not lose the tactical feel when I wear workbooks. more important, what good is gear if you don't wear it? When I go out for a ride might make a few stops along the way... with these on, I don't feel like I'm in moon boots (very indiscreet) Fit: they seem to run big. 13 were to big, 12 were spot on (i rock a size 13 reeb*k and a 12 timbs boot US) cons: ankle only looks like Kevlar Pros: good support, true to reviews... good weekend boot

Arlo Los Angeles,  CA Doesn't work for me The boot itself is OK, but there is no arch support. Easily solved with an insert, but the reason it doesn't work for me is that the height of the toe area it too high (from bottom of sole to top of the toe). On my '08 Ninja 250, the boot gets caught under the shift lever. No problem if you've got the clearance, but too dangerous for me.

David B Stamford,  CT Great Find !!! I have been looking for an all round, comfortable boot for sport riding, with a balance of comfort and protection. I think this is the one. Still need to put a few more miles on them to judge there performance, will let you know.

Bob Topeka,  KS Comfortable Boot I ride a Dual Sport and wanted some more ankle support than my work boots provide. MX boots were too much for a full day of riding, and camping so I gave TCX X-Cube's a try. I just got back from riding 300 miles of backroads, and camping in cool to cold weather. The boots were Great, Very comfortable. They seem to run true to size. I usually wear a 9.5 in US shoe sizing so I went with the 44's which were listed as a 10 US. I wore a heavy wool sock, and added a arch support insole that I use in all my boots. There was plenty of room for my toes which helped them stay warm in the 38 degree weather. Not as expensive as some other similar boots.... seem to be worth the money. I paid $116 shipped. I'm not sure what "water resistant" means but I put my foot down in a water hole for a few seconds and didn't get soaked. I have not ridden with them in the rain yet. I like the boots.

R'GSXR CHARLOTTE,  NC X-CUBE SHOES/BOOTS I LIKED THESE BOOTS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A HIGHER BACK THAN MOST. (COMPARED TO THE ALPINESTARS 101 AND JOE ROCKET ONES.) THEY COME UP A LITTLE HIGHER THAN I WANTED, BUT VERY COMFORTABLE. VERY LIGHT, NOT BULKY AS SOME, BUT TOUGH CONSTRUCTION. FOR WOMEN OUT THERE, THESE ARE VERY LIGHT AND LOOK “SMALL” ON YOUR FEET W/OUT LOSING THE PROTECTION. I ORDERED A SIZE BIGGER THAN I NORMALLY WEAR AND THEY FIT GREAT!

MZ Stafford,  VA TCX All Purpose Boot I truly love these boots. Great looking, comfortable, and actually universal for all kinds of weather. I wore them in 20 degree weather and in over 80 degrees weather. I have had no problem with them whatsoever! TCS, in my view, is one of the best makers of riding boots, and these boots are no exception.

Keith Litchfield,  NH TCX X- Cube Boot Oct 2008 This is the first real street bike boot that I have bought and I have been riding for 35 years. The size I take depends on the people who make the footwear, usually a 12 to 13 so I opted for the 12 1/2. It fits nicely for riding and answered my first question of WOULD I WEAR it without feeling like I'm TOO SEXY FOR MY BOOTS. It is easily covered by my jeans and is acceptable in other than the saddle. The soles are a bit harder than I realized and in doors it does sound a bit like some one is wearing high heals. The Italian's must have narrow feet in that the boots toe seems to be the only answer to my size. Could have used a size 12 wide. Glad I chose a 12 1/2. The look of the hard toed boot seems to inspire jokes of it belonging to one of the munchkins but with my 15 years of karate this is a plus. Very comfortable and warm while riding in the 23 degree mornings. I usually set my long legs on the rear pegs and they do not slip at all. The laces draw real easy and uniformly and the Velcro closure is absolute. I'm happy with the feel. I wanted something other than a sneaker for the colder weather as I am getting older and seem to not be so willing to endure what I can avoid.
