Waterproof and durable, with a snug fit that grows on you.
When these boots came in, the first thing I noticed about them was how stiff they were. When I put my feet in, the second thing I noticed was how tight the fit was. I went with the only size they had left (size 8) because it's the size of shoe I'm used to wearing, but I'm starting to move up in shoe size so my toes could have more wiggle room. I was worried that these boots wouldn't be comfortable. Surprisingly, after a week of walking around in these boots, they became incredibly snug and soft, now they fit like a silk glove and I can even keep a steady jog going with them. Tested waterproof, with a simple cleaning method to keep the leather supple. I'd recommend this boot for folks who have to endure regular rain if they ever get around to stocking more sizes. A bit of warning: these boots don't breathe. So have good socks on to help wick moisture, or you'll be swamping during long hauls.

2 years and still working
I have had these year round for 2 years as my primary boot. They are definitely waterproof. Worth the money. Regular rain no problems. After riding for a few hours the boot and my pants meet, this is an issue in a down pour, because it makes a perfect channel for the rain to go right into the boot. This is on a sports bike. A little warm for summer use. I usually wear wool socks and these in winter and my toes are perfectly fine for an hour of riding.

Ridge Boots
I bought these and wore them for the first time on a 1200 mile Blue Ridge Parkway ride back in early Oct 2010. I ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfect (one of the few brands you can order in 1/2 sizes). I had ordered two other brands from Motorcycle Superstore but they did not have 1/2 sizes. Did a good bit of walking and they wear like a pair of comfortable walking boots. I have not yet had the opportunity to wear them in rain - but see no reason why they should not be waterproof. No zippers, just a Velcro strap on both sides to fasten and they get on and off fairly easy. I bought these from Motorcycle Superstore based on the recommendation of several of my co-riders who have purchased riding gear from Motorcycle Superstore and I will go to Motorcycle Superstore in the future to buy additional gear.

Owned for at least a year
The boot fits great. I wear a 9 wide in boots so I had to buy the 10 to fit right in this boot. It is definitely only a RIDING boot. It fit so nice that I would wear them for 11 hours plus a day while at work and they cracked where they bend in only 6 months, thereby nullifying their waterproof ability. So if you use them only as a riding boot, I imagine they would have lasted longer. Also the velcro only feature is not good because that wears out. They need to have a zipper installed on this design. I still recommend the boot if you only use it as a riding boot.

Alpine Boot
A tad tight getting foot into boot, but once in fits as should. Very comfortable and warm. I would not use the boot in super hot climates. Warm and dry in rain. Good value.

Alpinestar Boots
The quality of the product is really good; they are comfortable and durable. But they are not waterproof; sometimes my feet get wet when it rains a lot.

Good boot
Was looking for a pair of good all round boots that would be waterproof and provide some good protection. I'm a newer rider and don't have a ton of gear so I was looking for some boots that can do it all - or maybe most anyway. I looked at some of the street shoes and while they had some protection, it wasn't quite as much as I was looking for - especially for the price. After shopping around a bit I found these. The heel and toe protection were important but so was the height. As a mid-height boot they are tall enough to support the ankle well but not too tall so as to be uncomfortable. For me, the fact they are waterproof is a great bonus but wasn't my main purpose in choosing this particular boot. They fit really well - exactly the same as my regular shoes. They are comfortable for riding as well as walking around in. They seem well built - quality stitching and material and seem built to last. They go on and come off easy which is a plus. Overall very satisfied with these and with Motorcycle Superstore.

I love these boots
I only gave them a 3 durability because I've only had them a couple months, however so far they're picture perfect. I have very wide feet EEE and wear size 10 or 10.5 shoes, and these 11's fit quite comfortably, but because of my EEE they are a bit snug. I wore them for 6hrs the first day I got them to wear them in, and aside from my feet dying of heat (it was 90 outside), they were very comfortable. I've only worn them in a light rain, but my feet stayed dry. On the bike they're quite comfortable, I can feel the shift and brake pedals easily, and they stay put on the pegs nicely. I often shift my feet from heel to mid to toe when I ride, and all 3 spots they stay put and don't slide. I recommend these boots!

Everything I could ask for, and more..
I needed a slightly wider boot than normally sold. I put these on and it was like I'd owned them for years. Perfect fit, and extremely comfortable.

Warm winter boots
Nice winter boots. My husband loves them. Wish they had been more for summer use, since we don't have that much cold weather here in Florida.
