Great style and protection from a boot that doesn't look too "racer boy". Was worried about sizing after reading reviews to order next larger/smaller size but in my case my usual 9.5 seem to be breaking in fine. Was disappointed that my "Italian" boots are made in "Vietnam" but seems to be the trend lately. As far as durability, only time will tell.

Read all the reviews to get a feel for fit and size and decided to order the size I always order when purchasing shoes. To my surprise they fit perfectly. I knew they might be difficult to zip up because of my high instep but it wasn’t bad. The feel of the shifter and brake pedals is awesome while keeping feet cool. Had no idea boots would improve rider enjoyment but they do and can easily be worn all day. It’s the best purchase I have ever made. Great price, fit, and finish.

I bought these boots for my husband for our anniversary, they are for him to use at the track. He put them on and loved them. They are the chaper alpine stars but they are just as awesome as the expensive ones. The quality is superbe. My husband has yet to ride in them a much, so I cannot rate the durability yet. the sizing I kind of estimated and I got it right.

First let me say these seem to run big, I have small feet. US size 8, but when I tried an 8 here they were WAAAY to big. I ended up with a 6.5. But these are fantastic boots. They feel awesome I could wear them all day. So far they seem to be holding up good as well.

Bought these because I wanted a boot for aggressive street and canyon riding with potential for light track use. Rode 400 miles yesterday with them and they were comfortable on and off the bike. Short break-in period. Great protection for the money, and lots of features, although there's minimal air flow through the vent (was riding in 35 degree weather and my feet never got cold). Already scraped up the plastic toe slider but will be easy to replace.

Great boots!!! Very comfortable, especially in hot weather. After I have been standing for a while on a hot day and get back on the bike they feel like my feet are in a air conditioner. Not bad to walk in even though they are not quite broken in yet. Good feel for the shifter and brake.

While they lack some of the protective features of high-end, full-on race boots, the make up for it by being comfortable to walk in. I use them as street boots and they work great for that, being the perfect compromise between comfort and protection. I don't think the venting works that well (can't feel the air flowing), but my feet haven't been hot in them as long as I was moving.

Excellent boot, might want to buy a half size smaller than the shoe you wear.

read all the other recommendations and have to say they are good boots break 'em in for a while but you will forget you are wearing them as they are really comfortable. haven't had a hot day yet so we'll see how the venting works in a San Fernando summer.
