The S-MX 5 Waterproof boot has been created as a performance road and track boot, with built-in weather protection. Incorporating the latest technical footwear design and material know-how, the S-MX 5 WP is notable for its comfort, hugging fit, safety performance and wet weather performance

Features:
  • All-Round protection, durable, high-tech micro-fiber upper construction offering a high level of flexibility
  • Double injected PU shields the shin, ankle, calf, toe and heel from impact while minimizing abrasion
  • Inner protection is given by a double injected panel connected to the heel counter, hidden beneath the outer shell and running up the outer ankle
  • Quick drying polyamide lining is laminated with open cell foam and high density contoured padding to absorb shocks to the foot area.
  • Innovative air vents at the ankle, heel and forefoot are covered with a specially designed mesh to provide unmatched levels of rider comfort
  • Large ‘throat’ profile instep and Achilles flex bellows for superior flex and comfort
  • MTP mesh liner and anatomical, removable, PU Foam foot bed keeps the foot cool and comfortable

Wes Lemberg Pacifica,  CA Alpinestars SMX 5 Waterproof Boot The boots felt extremely comfortable right out of the box. The first thing you will notice is the outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail. I've been on several rides and they are as comfortable on the ride as they are off the ride walking around.

Sam Amherst,  MA Pretty comfortable Haven't used them in the rain yet, but they're a little warm. I'm a size 13us and went with a 49; they seem a little loose, but fit real snug width wise when the zipper is up. They're comfortable, but if you wear them under your pants, you're going to want to wear long socks. I was a little surprised at how easy they scuff on the front of the boot. All in all, I think they are worth the money and a good all around street boot.

Colin Virginia Beach,  VA A-Stars SMX-5 Waterproof boots... Initially I ordered size 45, as I have a pair of the Web boots in the same size, due to the manner in which the SMX is cut and designed to fit I couldn't even get my foot in the boot, so, I returned them for the size 46's. Great boot, wore them around the house for a few hours and then on the bike for a long trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway. They continue to get more comfortable, great boots! I only wish I had purchased them earlier. No squeaking, not too hot, not too cold. A great value! I would buy another pair in a minute.
