Alpinestars S-MX 2 Vented Boots

Utilizing technology from the S-MX 4 road riding boot, the S-MX 2 is a new concept low cut, performance street boot. Incorporating much of the protective technology present in its larger ‘cousin’, this boot offers great flexibility without sacrificing safety.

Features:
  • Low cut street riding boot, giving ultimate flexibility and uninhibited ankle movement, while retaining comprehensive foot protection and riding performance technology
  • Designed to be used in conjunction with Alpinestars exclusive street knee/shin protector
  • Inner side zipper, with Velcro© over flap closure, make entry and exit highly convenient
  • Heel protection detail and toe shifter pads
  • Replaceable TPU toe-sliders
  • Molded rubber sole with internal shank for rigidity and protection

Dennis Fyfe Oak Grove,  KY Alpinestars for life! I've bought two other pairs of Alpinestars shoes and they're just as awesome as these. They're easy to slip on and off with the zipper. The buckle is easy to use and the toe sliders pop on and off with ease. I read the other people's reviews and took their advice about buying a size smaller. I wear a size 10 with the Alpinestars One-on-One shoes and ordered a size 44 with these. If they had a 43.5, it would've been perfect, but this is working out just fine. ryan valparaiso,  GA great boots I have had these for almost a year and have 0 complaints. I wear a size 10.5 in shoes, so I ordered size 44 and they fit perfect. Just make sure you where long sock, or else your ankle will get a little rash on it from the top of the boots. I like that I can wear them into work and they still look decent, not like a lot of other riding boots. They are also comfortable to walk around in for a while too.

blaise sf,  CA Very nice and great quality These shoes were better than i expected. however they run on the big side. i typically wear between a 8.5 and a 9. i bought the 9's and they are almost 9.5. good thing i have a lot of thick socks. they were great for my storm trooper costume this Halloween.

Robert Roswell,  NM nice boot These boots are well made really stick your feet to the bike. Comfortable to walk around in all day and in colder weather still keep your feet warm unlike regular tennis shoes. The white is a little overwhelming at first but a great looking boot. Great price and fast shipping.

Pavel Seattle,  WA Good boots I got these boots for several reasons: I rarely drive so I need something I can ride and occasionally walk in. Full length boots make walking too difficult so this was a good compromise. Also, I tried on a number of other boots and they were either not as comfortable as these or didn't offer enough protection or were too bulky. Again, these are a good compromise. Finally, it's almost impossible to find 3/4 length boots for hotter weather. Most come in full black only and don't have good venting. I am not sure how useful the vents are on these but they are better than nothing.

Barry Abingdon,  MD S-MX 2 Vented Boots I bought these boots for my everyday riding. I commute almost daily to work, so it is nice just put on and have the protection of a boot instead of wearing the higher racing boots. They feel like tennis shoes when you are wearing them. I recommend them to anyone needing a good everyday boot. The sizes are right on, I wear an 8 to 8.5 in most shoes, and they fit perfectly!

Clarke Ries Victoria,  BC Great 3/4 boots No complaints about these boots. They size a bit oddly: I'm a 10.5 in normal footwear (45 European), and this boot in a 44 fits perfectly snug.

Mark Smith North Babylon,  NY Satisfied They look and feel like sneakers but with the support you would expect from a boot. I have found that the size chart runs large, since I already own a pair of S-MX4's in size 45. I'm a true 10 1/2, so I ordered these in a 44 and they were on the money out of the box. Great boots!
