Motorcycle Superstore performed flawlessly in processing and delivering my order for a pair of Alpinestars S-MX 2 Boots. The icing on the cake was the fine quality of the boots. Fit is excellent. They are beautifully crafted, extremely durable, adjustable and very easy to both put on and remove. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. I recently moved to Virginia from California and had to acquire my VA class M license. I used these boots to take a 3 day motorcycle class and they performed perfectly. They're Grrrreat!!!
These boots are absolutely amazing. I wear a size 11, got two pairs. One size 45, the other 44. The 44 is supposed to be for size 10.5 but they fit perfect. Perhaps a bit snug on my bigger foot but I like them just that way. The 45's were a bit loose on my feet. If these get old, I'm definitely buying a new pair. Worth every cent.

Great boots
I used these for my MSF class while it was pouring. My feet were the only thing that was left dry from the pouring rain. I really like the comfort (they don't need to be worn in) and I also like the look of them. I normally wear an 8.5 in sneakers but went with the size 42 and they were perfect.

love them
I just got them and they are nice very comfortable. Putting them on was hard at first but now they are fine, they are broken in and they are great for riding, they stick right to your pegs and they are a ease to walk around in. Perfect for some one that doesn’t like changing shoes to walk and ride

No complaints at all. Stylish and strong without being loud. Get away with wearing them at the office when I forget to have my shoes. Use for riding a sport bike. Seems like they are sold in US half sizes because they are EUR sizes. For the most part I wear a 13 in shoes. I bought the 48 (12.5) and they fit great.

These boots are comfortable and I can ride and wear them all day long. Took four days to break in. The fit was good with slightly thicker socks.

Alpinestars S-MX 2 Boot
I originally purchased a competitors boot (Icon Tarmac), only a month before, which did fit very well (sock kept falling down in left boot!) had terrible velcro straps as a primary fastening system (kept coming loose!) and were way bulkier than the Alpinestar SMX2 boot. The SMX2 boot is great, fits really well, is really comfortable and because of it's non-bulky slimmer toe design works really well with the shifter control. My first long ride of 200 miles with them uncovered no issues or surprises. And I'd buy them again.

Awesome Boots
I have had the boots for a little over a month now. Ordered a Size 45, my shoe size is around 10.5 or 11 USA which varies by shoe type / manufacturer. These boots fit amazingly, very comfortable, and do not hinder the ankle movement. I would recommend these boots to anyone.

Alpinestars S-MX2 Boot
I ordered a pair of these boots after seeing a pair that my daughter-in-law ordered for my son as a Christmas present. I
as looking for a 3/4 length boot and the S-MX2's just fit the bill. Due to bad weather I've only had limited use of this product, however; from what I've experienced I would highly recommend this product.

nice boots
i bought these boots because i don’t need the full bots as of now. i where icon leg armor to cover my shins. they fit well. I wear a 14 and i ordered a 49 which is a 13.5. They fit spot on for me. Snug all around with enough movement so i don’t feel cramped. I took a 40 mile an hour crash with them and they survived. they still look nearly new with a little scratch on the buckle. the finish only too a hit because I had a few loose threads. it gets plenty hot here and they do not bother my feet. i can walk around in them and only motorcycle riders can spot them sometimes.
Overall a good purchase for me. and i would buy again if i needed another pair.

Alpinestars - S-MX 2 Boot
I'm a sport bike rider and enjoy carving the canyons on the weekends. I also use the same bike to commute to work, and needed some practical low-cut boots that still had the same feel as my full size boots, but allowed me to wear them all day and walk comfortably. These Alpinestars S-MX 2 boots fit the bill perfectly, they have the same low-profile toe as the full-length sport boots that allow clean and easy gear shifts; they offer substantial protection for my feet (but not as much ankle protection as a full-length boot), and feel really comfortable for both riding and walking. I can definitely recommend these boots, and I think they are quite good value for the price.

Great Boot
I got these boos when I got my new 1997 Triumph Daytona T595. I had some trouble getting my work boots underneath the shift lever, so I looked at these boots for a thinner toe. When they showed up I had no trouble getting the toe underneath the shift lever. They are the most comfortable boot that I had for the street. I rode to work in these boots and I was able to work in the boots they are so comfortable.. I recommend these boots to who ever needs a boot for a sport bike. The sizing on them is great I wear a 7 got a 7 and it fit great.

Good fit / function for the money
As an owner of another pair of Alpinestars boots which are full length, I wanted something a bit easier to walk around with. These boots fit the bill. Lightweight yet durable and comfortable. Not too hot with a decent amount of ventilation. Functionally, on the motorcycle, shifting is no problem. Grip is good as with any other Stars product.

Boot is very comfortable for casual to aggressive street riding.. The fit is true to standard shoe sizes. Well built, good construction and support. I found no flaws in the fit and finish. I've had the boots less than a month but so far so good. I felt the boots were expensive, but they have the best quality for the price range. You get what you pay for. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

The other comments to ordering one-size smaller than the table recommendations was the right direction and for some two sizes down might work. I wear orthotics and they still fit, as a bit big in only one size down. I was surprised at the difference in cycle-driving confidence one has, when wearing such boots. I am a professional and have give into simply wearing them at work during the day without a change out.

Great boot!
I ordered these boots to replace the use of the Icon Chukkas that I had. The Icons were a bit too bulky and not all that comfortable to walk in for long periods. In addition, with my bike, they were a bit to large to get easily in and out between the peg and the shifter. The Alpinestars S-MX 2 Boot is extremely comfortable, my pant legs cover them easily the way I prefer, and the look is great. There is no problem shifting and I love the nice simple, design that's not too stand outish. I'm glad I made the choice to go with this boot. My shoe size is a 10, but I went with a size 44 which fits perfect.

A*s S-MX 2 Boot
This is a beautifully made boot for the money. Quality, supple leather expertly crafted. The side zipper and front clasp secure the boot nicely and they are very easy to get on and off. The only con I have is that I take a size 11 and the A*s are in US half sizes. The 10.5 is a bit snug, but with thin socks and a little wear I'm sure they will break in fine.

Freaking Cool Boots
These boots are pretty amazing looking with my jeans, and I’m sure they'd look good with racing pants too! I have never been a boot guy but when I bought these they made me feel amazing. You can take off a part on the outer too if you aren't planning on using them for leaning much. I like that because you can look less conspicuous in public. I have a cruiser and normal shoes shimmy off of the interstate pegs but not these boots. I’m not sure if they'd be the most comfortable for walking around because I noticed un-comfort after walking in them for a while, Perfect for riding on a motorcycle though.

What took me so long...?
I am totally please with this riding boot. I rarely splurge on myself when it comes to riding gear. This was one of the best purchases that I've made and definitely the best warm weather riding boot I purchased to date. I still get compliments on the styling

Awesome boot. Good ankle coverage, extremely well made, great looking and fits comfortable right out of the box. Be careful when sizing. Order the next size smaller and you will have a perfect fit.

great boot for the everyday rider
When I have to buy another boot I am going to buy this same boot. Fits great broke in after one ride. Very comfortable off the bike as well. I was sketchy about the price, but after using them everyday I realized the price was well worth it. Sole has great grip on those wet foggy mornings when the ground is slick. My knee and shin pads fit great with this boot also.

Decent boot
I bought these boots with the intent of just wearing them with jeans. I have very big feet (15) and the size 14 boots fit me (size 49 EUR). The boots fit well although the latch cuts right across the top of my foot if it is too tight it cuts off circulation on my feet. I think this is due to the size of my feet as lots of shoes tend to have fitment problems due to size. They withstand my exhaust temperatures well as my exhaust comes out right near the heel of this boot. Regular shoes have melted to my exhaust. Overall I think they are a pretty good boot. They are loose at the top which is nice because when I wear full leathers they tuck into the boot well. The only thing I would do differently is buy the all black ones as the red looks funny to me on the toe.

Niiiiice Boots!!
They fit and are comfy to ride in for hours or walk around in after a ride. They slip on and off fairly easy. The clamping hold down is a little wonky sometimes....but overall I love these boots! Highly recommended!

Very comfortable!!
These boots are extremely comfortable and lightweight. They aren't the most breathable shoes (the regular model isn't necessarily supposed to be), but they aren't hot and muggy, either. The break in period is immediate, and they have a great feel as far as being on the pegs and shifting and braking. They can be worn all day with no problems. The only drawback is that they are not too compatible with wide leg jeans (you end up walking on your cuffs). As far as fitment, I would suggest that you go the next size down from what the size chart recommends (I normally wear a 10 US boot, so I ordered the 45, which ended up being too big - but the 44 is a perfect fit). They seem to offer great protection, and are on par pricewise with other lightweight, non-track-specific boots.

GREAT COMFORT
These are very comfortable and good looking boots! They have a zipper covered by a velcro flap so they are easy to put on. They do not make my feet sweat. I am very pleased I bought these and everyone says how good they look!

Very nice, Good Lookig Boot
For those who have wide issue, this is the best fit. Good looking, very nice finished and good quality leather. Adjustable clip is really functional. But just like the SMX-1 model size issue, you may want to order 1/2 to 1" size smaller. I'm 10 1/2" size (wide) and I order 44 which is equivalent to 9 1/2" according to table size. But it really fits well to me and I'm very happy with my first boot. Just be careful on sizing.
