Shift Riding Shoes

I love the look and fit of the shoes. I have only had them for a month, so I cannot speak of Durability yet. I do wear them all day at work when I ride and have had many complements on them. Most are surprised they are Riding Shoes. I also got a great deal on them. This is not my first purchase from MCSS and it will not be my last. Happy so far!

Great First Shoes

I only started riding, but the Shift Racing Fuel Street Shoes are a great first shoe for riding my ninja. They are comfortable and usable in my day to day life, work, school etc. They give good protection while riding as well. The only downfall which really isn't huge is the fact that white shoes get dirty fast, the black shoes would have been nicer if they weren't sold out. Though this is nothing any shoe cleaner cannot fix.

Great buy for the price!!

Extremely comfortable shoes, runs true to size for me and I wear a 9 in boots. They certainly feel like a pair of sneakers and give the grip on the ground needed at stops on the bike. Would certainly purchase another pair.

Nice looking sneaker for when you just don't want to wear boots.

I was looking for something that would be better than street shoes on short trips in warmer weather than a big pair of boots. These sneakers fit the bill. They're light and comfortable to drive in, and look like a pair of slightly bigger than normal high tops. Very pleased with this purchase at a great price. I will mention again that they look a little bulkier than the average sneaker, but nothing too insane.

Fit was spot on.

Bought these boots on closeout and wasn't sure how the fit would be due to the extremely low price. Shipping was EXTREMELY fast (placed the order on Friday NIGHT after 9pm, and were at my door Tuesday afternoon around 3), the fit was perfect. I have wider and flatter feet than most and numerous pairs of boots and shoes have been passed up due to this. Extremely well fit and flexible enough to still have some wiggle room and not be uncomfortable. Great price, great boot, great shipping.

Updated review

OK...I loved these, reviewed them highly, but today the little plastic loop that the strap goes through snapped as I was tightening up the ankle strap. I'm very disappointed, and now I need to find some kind of metal loop to replace it. They should come with metal loops anyway because that would be much more sturdy.

Shift Racing Fuel Shoes

These are very comfortable shoes. I may buy a 2nd pair as a back up.

Shift Fuel Street Shoes - OK but not great

Unless you have a pretty narrow foot, go with next largest size. Toe box and heel don't have much reinforcement. There's plastic over outside ankle but just moderate padding over the inside. Can feel seams that run along sides up by toes. Could be painful if snug. Stupid place for a seam. One of loop eyelets broke. Should have regular eyelets at the top where you put the most pressure when tightening laces. Can feel the strap if you flex your ankle very much when riding. Should be a bit lower.

clicked heels 3 times...

Was not teleported home, although I didn't do the incantation to go along with it. Not sure how durable these will be in a fall, but definitely more comfortable to wear around off the horse. p.s. I can now run better, run faster than a bullet.

Nice pair for the price

I wore this today to work and boy it feels solid. The sole of the shoes is hard just like the boots and you can feel more direct shifting. I got 1/2 size smaller and it's snug. Great for casual riding!
