These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They feel like an extension of your foot, and are not cumbersome at all. The soles are really grippy, and the vents work well. I purchased a size smaller than marked, and they fit like they were made for me. I would recommend these boots to anyone who does sport/track day riding, a must for racers. If they're good enough for Ben Spies, Nicky Hayden, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, Nori Haga, Andrea Dovitsioso, Tony Elias, Johnathan Rea, Carlos Checa.... ok I think you get the point. Definitely a splurge item but well worth the investment in my eyes!

I own the previous version of the non-vented black Supertechs. The R's are much lighter and easier to walk in. Still working to make getting in and out of them easier. Venting seems effective. Haven't had hot days to test in yet. Boots don't squeek like the last pair. Bought one size (44vs45) smaller this time due to reviews I've read. I agree so far with this advice. Went with these instead of Daytona Security $1K boots.
Very nice boots!

I use them for canyons and commuting. They are extremely comfortable. I had the SMX-Plus before, and those were also great. The Supertech's have a bit more sensitivity to the controls and squeak less (they don't squeak at all actually, which surprised me). It's been pretty hot in LA, high 90's. I can't say I feel wind rushing in through the vents, but I have to admit my feet are the coolest part of my body. No sweating at all so the vents are clearly helping. I wear size 11 shoes. In the SMX-Plus I wore a Euro 45, but the Supertech seems to fit better in a 44. Don't remove the liners to put them on and take them off. Just leave the liner in the boot. It works fine and is a lot easier.
