The Jupiter 2 XCR Boots from TCX are able to guarantee users maximum protection and the highest levels of performance. TCX has a history of innovations: the Torsion Control System™ patent, used in racing and off road biking and the Metatarsal Control System®, which has for years been an important reference point in the motorcycle sector.

Gore-Tex Membrane® Footwear with XCR Product Technology
  • XCR® Product Technology is the most recent and highly developed version of the famous Gore-Tex®, which improves on the last with a 25% increase in breathability, thanks to a lighter structure and even more advanced technology. XCR® is an acronym for Extended Comfort Range: the final result is therefore: all year indoor comfort and outdoor protection, extremely breathable to prevent feet from overheating, optimum heat conductivity and excellent moisture management ensure all day climate comfort inside the shoe, durable waterproof protection stops moisture from seeping in.

Dean Portland,  OR TCX - Jupiter 2 XCR Boots Wow -- these are comfortable boots! I can (and do) walk around in them all day. I wore them in a typhoon-like storm, and my feet remained bone dry. They look like hiking or walking boots -- they don't scream "motorcyclist" to coworkers or passersby. They offer excellent protection up to the ankle, but nothing above. They are the perfect commuter boot. For racing or touring, you may want something with better shin protection.

Mike Seattle,  WA Nice Compromise Boot Fit : I'm normally an 11 - 11 1/2 (nike 12) so I bought the bigger size. It fits pretty well. I'm glad I bought the bigger size. The boots appear to be somewhat narrow so if you have fat feet like me go up a size. I got this boot because I needed a boot that would do almost everything and do it somewhat comfortable. I wanted a boot/shoe that wouldn't look ridiculous at work (I'm a software programmer) and that I could wear around if I was running errands or going to a baseball game. These boots do that pretty well. They look like a somewhat awkward high top. When covered by my pant legs they just look like a somewhat weird shoe. They cover the bones that stick out of my ankle so I feel fairly safe.

Kirk Windsor,  CA Better than tennis shoes Yes, definitely more protection than tennis shoes and almost as comfortable but not quite. These boots are great for all weather commuting and weekend riding. I recently wore them to an all day event. After hours of walking and standing (some riding) in a parking lot with 80+ deg. heat, my feet were just fine. You'd think that with all the suede and synthetic material, your feet would bake (like my old chukka boots) but that's not the case. I also think the suede is too nice for these boots. After about 4k miles my boots already look punished because I treat them like..uh..boots. These boots are quality, good looking foot gear. If you have the spare cash, you won't be disappointed. If cash is an issue, you still won't be disappointed.

Steve New York,  NY TCX - Jupiter 2 XCR Boots Was a bit skeptical about dropping $200 on a short boot. But these are well worth every penny. Fit was true for me 44/10us. Quality throughout this shoe. It's stiff till broken in. About the third wearing is when it loosened up a lil for me. Nice tread, no slipping or should I say they grip the pavement well. Rated excellent by me!

Jack Matthews West Jordan,  UT TCX -- Jupiter 2 XCR Boots These are great boots. I've been riding in them for about one month now and haven't found anything that I don't like about them. Temperatures about 100 degrees here in UT and 110 in AZ. at the end of the day your feet are still dry. These boots are a little pricey but are worth every penny.

Frank Fort Collins,  CO Sport Touring riders will love these! I've had these boots for several months now and have worn them in heat, cold, rain and, most recently, a hail storm. The perfect ST boot,: all-temperature comfort, stylish, nice to walk around town in and easy to get on and off. I have large feet and skinny ankles so getting a boot that's secure at the top has been a challenge...the velcro strap solves that problem and also holds the loose laces from blowing around. Wear these with a pair of Smart Wool socks and you're ready to ride anytime. Quality construction, flat soles with just the right amount of pliability. Fit is true to size. I wear a 12.5 and the 47s were perfect. Highly recommended.

Dave Krulitsky Kamloops,  BC TCX - Jupiter 2 XCR Boots You are going to have to watch out, the first time wearing these boots! Someone must have thought, "Wow! That silicone product sure makes these soles look nice!", because until the purchaser scrubs/washes the bottoms off, your feet will not stay on the pegs of your bike! Other than that...I am pleased with them.
