TCX X-Five Gore-Tex Touring Boots

The TCX X-Five Gore-Tex Touring Boot System™ patent, used in racing and off road biking and the Metatarsal Control System®, which has for years been an important reference point in the motorcycle sector.

Comfort Fit System (CFS)
  • TCX products in the Touring Range are manufactured using techniques that ensure a high quality fit: the Comfort Fit System (“form moulding”), through which the upper is shaped on a mould that reproduces the anatomy of the human foot. The Touring Range is therefore extremely versatile and high quality, with high tech products that can also be used casually and in the city.
Full Grain Leather
  • The uppers of the TCX® Touring range are made using full grain leather. This is the most valuable part of the leather, which is specially treated and rendered waterproof. The result is an upper in a natural material that gives exceptional performance in terms of protection from atmospheric agents, breathability and fit.
High performance Touring Sole
  • Touring Range models have a high-tech sole in a single density compound that is highly resistant to oil and hydrocarbons. The mixed tread pattern gives excellent, safe, reliable grip in every part of the sole for all conditions. Technical performance is combined with a superior level of comfort, thanks to the EVA inner foam layer that has the dual function of absorbing vibration and, thanks to its extreme lightness, of lightening the overall weight of sole.
Gore-Tex Membrane®
  • The application of the Gore-tex® membrane offers an optimal combination of breathability and insulation, granting the feet to stay warm and dry, never sweaty even in extreme conditions. The durable waterproof protection stops moisture from seeping in.

dr. gary depew,  NY great investment Like many other riders I usually investigate all products trying to buy the best product for the lowest price. I decided to purchase good riding boots after wearing Icon for about two years. They served their purpose but i wanted something easier to slip on and off and also provide more protection just in case. I definitely found the answer in the TCX-X5 Gore-Tex. I wear size 10 sneakers/shoes and have a wide foot so finding boots to fit comfortably is challenging. These boots are the ticket, nice and roomy. They are so light but made extremely well providing excellent traction both on the foot-pegs and on the pavement. Very comfortable in temperatures ranging between 85 down to 45. They breath nicely preventing perspiration to build so your feet stay dry. I'm confident they would serve riders well in the desert or in cooler climates. Therefore, without hesitation, buy these boots and end all worries. Thank you motorcycle superstore, from purchase to delivery your rock solid. Ride safely everyone!

Paul sturgeon Bay,  WI my favorite accessory. I bought these boots sight-unseen after reading favorable reviews. Two days after the boots arrived I left on a 7-day cruise and I literally wore them sun up to sun down. I ordered the same size as my favorite running shoes and the fit is great. I have lousy feet but could walk miles. I did unfortunately get to test the weather proof-ness and they kept my feet warm and dry.

bigboy Frisco,  TX Comfortable right out of the box! I did something that you'd think should not be done: took those boots right out of the box and went for a 2000 mile 3 day ride. I was a bit concerned that I'd have problems but no worry; I forgot I even wore boots very quickly. Rode in temperatures from higher 40s to lower 100s and did not a thing. There is no actual airflow in the boot though (did not expect it either) but it seems like Gore-Tex does a very decent job of allowing moisture to escape. I feel that this was an excellent value for an all-day comfortable touring boot. I will though echo some comments about the boot being made for people with wide calves. I do not, so I need to close the velcro extra-tight to feel like the boot is secure.

Jeff Kirkland Helena,  MT Spendy but worth it A good part of motorcycle touring is walking around to see the sights. And these boots are great for walking around. Prior to them I had a pair of engineer-type boots that functioned well on the bike but were a literal pain to walk any great distance in. The only problem with these boots is that the sole is so flat that on occasion it's hard to shift up. Other than being high-priced, the boots are great.

Darryl Macon,  GA Excellent Boot I am quite pleased with these boots, sizing is accurate although a bit stiff at first. Purchased these boots for myself and a pair of Sidi Women's Jasmine Rain Boots for my wife for a ride along the Blue Ridge in June 2009, they arrived the day before we left. The TCX's are very comfortable once broken in. We hiked several miles on numerous occasions over prepared and unprepared trails to reach waterfalls located in rather remote areas - no blisters and feet did not overheat from the Goretex lining. Encountered a little bit of rain but not enough to provide an evaluation, what we did encounter feet stayed dry. Excellent pair of boots that are very comfortable for all-day wear.

Thomas Allentown,  PA Well worth the money The fit is great. I have a wide foot and the size 11, my usual size, fits like a glove. They are very comfortable. I have a pair of boots from RedWing for my job because they have a steel toe. I liked them until I got the TCX. TCX blows them away from the comfort point of view. I've only had them a month, so it's hard to comment on durability. They do look and feel great. I'm very happy I bought them. Now part of my ATGATT.

D. Linden Syosset,  NY Nice Boot Fit was good once I added gel soles, which also improved comfort. Now feels very secure. Finish is excellent. Boot breaths fairly well but I expect it will be hot in full on summer. No issue with the profile of the boot getting under the shifter, but it did take a bit getting used to the feel of the sole on the shifter. Outstanding grip on the pegs and on pavement. Overall I'm very happy with this boot.

James Martinez Wofford Heights,  CA Great Boots These are truly waterproof as evidenced by a recent ride through Colorado. At first they were too stiff and dug into my shins causing some pain while walking around. After several days of riding they softened up enough to be forgotten. They seem to be very sturdy and polish up well once broken in. I replaced a pair of BMW Gore-Tex boots with these and I have to say the quality is similar. If these hold up as well the previous boots this will be a great value. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Jim Quarles Dalton,  GA TCX Air Tech Touring Boots I like other riders own many pairs of boots, it seems you can never find the right boot to fit the touring conditions. I purchased a pair of TCX Air Tech and rode 1200 miles in all types of weather conditions and the boot performed outstanding. We were caught in a South Georgia rain storm which droped 2" of rain on us, my feet stayed dry the entire trip, we rode in 90+ weather and my feet stayed cool. The TCX Touring Boot is the boot to have, you will not experience wet feet, cold feet or hot feet. You will not have you foot slipping on the pavement when trying to back your motorcycle into parking spaces or when sitting in heavy traffic in hot weather.
