J Tucson,  AZ Icon Super Duty 3 is the Best I buy nothing but Icon boots. This is my third pair. You can't go wrong with Icon. The best for the money for fit and looks. I wear them all day on the job many times walking around a class room for as much as six hours plus I don't usually take them off till I go to bed. I've had many brands but Icon's the best.

Donald Lundstrom Worcester,  MA Super Duty 3 Boots Had to return to boots because they were far too wide for my foot, even though they were to be a medium width. Other than that, they appeared to offer the features listed in the catalog description. I did order the Gaerne - G Aktive boots as a replacement and they were great on the 8,500 trip I just completed. Only issue is one footbed that keeps sliding back and crawling up along my Achilles!

MICHAEL Los Angeles,  CA Not Again These boots are OK. Very chunky. I would just as soon have bought a new pair of Dickies, though. I'm not sure the protection is that much greater with the Icons. And the Dickies are way less bulky. For bulky I have my classic Chippewas. Bottom line: Not for sportbike riders. Best for cruisers.

DT Chattanooga,  TN I'm sure someone will enjoy these. Just not me. I ordered a half size larger because I have a very wide foot. These were still way too narrow and very painful with the buckle snapped shut. Beware wide-footed folks.

Daniel Wise Talent,  OR Great fit quality boot I've only had these a few weeks. I originally followed the suggestions of others on this forum and ordered a half size larger than normal. They were too big. So I ordered my normal shoe size, and they fit like a (comfortable) glove. Even with thick socks. I like these boots. The leather upper is stylish enough to wear around town. I've worn them for hours, even on hot days, and they remain comfortable and not too warm. They have a lower profile than the Super Duty 2, so there is no problem getting under the shift lever. They also are a little higher, completely covering the ankle. The only negative would be that the lacing makes them difficult to get on and off. It's a good thing they are so comfortable!

Clifford Harper Jonesboro,  AR Icon-Super Duty 3 Boots These are definitely quality boots. They were a little tight at first but are very comfortable after breaking them in. I can wear them all day in comfort. The extra material on the shift toe is nice. The only complaint that I have is that the toungue could be a little wider and be attached to the outter boot up a little higher. Haven't ridden in the rain so can't comment on their resistance to water. I would definitely order these boots again. They are a good looking, quality boot.

Hoops LA,  CA Good Product These boots are great for everyday use. They provide great protection while riding and look like regular boots while walking around. My only complaint is that I got a size 11.5 and ride a 08'gsxr, and the toe of the boot doesn't fit very well into the space between the peg and foot shifter. This makes it hard to up shift quickly.

Paul Pittsburgh,  PA Perfect Fit really well. I bought them in the same size that I buy my new balance running shoes (hope that helps). Bit snug at first, they break in and feel incredible. Lacing is a bit of a pain, but everything else makes it well worth it. Plus this boot will not come off your foot in an accident. Sole sticks to ground well and is very resistant to wearing from scraping on the ground. The shift protector works well and keeps the boot from being scuffed. Buy this boot!

Ed lancaster,  PA Boots Love these boots. Extremely comfortable to walk in which is a great bonus on long rides. The snap down feature ensures a good snug fit and makes me feel good that these will absolutely stay on. Another plus is the removable insert - which I’m sure I will replace over time. The reinforced toe is perfect for my shifter peg. Ankle protection is good as promised. These also look good enough to wear almost anywhere. A great value. I bought the extra buckle kit which screws in nicely.

Den Carmel,  IN Good Boots, Good choice Got these boots based on the low key style and the good reviews. They are every bit as good as the reviews say. There is plenty of room for toes and the size (9.5) is spot on. The only complaint I might have is the latching strap doesn't stay at the same length (there are teeth to adjust the length as well as the latch) when it’s released very well. Other than that they work very well on the pegs and walk quite well for the stiff sole. Great boots would get them again.

Steve Hood St. John's,  NL Excellent boots, very comfortable! This past week I wore these boots for the first time to attend an all-day motorcycle training course. I had the boots on for 15 consecutive hours and I must say they are very, very comfortable. I expected to have sore feet after such a long day but the Icons were a perfect fit. I suggest you buy one half size larger than regular shoe size as they are a bit of a small make.

striklan Gainesville,  FL really nice, but one problem Very comfortable, appears to be very durable, offers a decent amount of protection, looks pretty good with jeans (looks almost like a normal shoe), but i had to return them because i couldn’t feel the shifter at all...the top of the toe is stiff with protection, and the bottom is thick

William Billings Key Largo,  FL Different kinds of "feel" I've been wanting a pair of "real" riding boots for some time, and when I found the Icon Super Duty 3 they appeared to have everything I wanted in a boot: protection, fit, style and affordability. The Super Duty 3 did not disappoint me as it is everything I expected, and more. What I did not anticipate was the difference wearing a boot v. athletic shoe would make in being able to feel my bike's shifter and the shift itself. There's extra material where the shifter contacts the boot, and for me it's a little too much material to really feel what's going on with a modern sportbike's transmission. It's definitely a drawback, especially in urban areas where frequent shifts are required, and I'm hoping that the more I wear the boots the better I will get at feeling where and what. Fortunately my other bike is a Harley, and there shouldn't be any trouble feeling that shifter or the change of gears!

Michael P. Frank Los Angeles,  CA Very satisfied I've had these boots for a couple of weeks. I'm very happy with how they feel - the leather is already breaking in and getting softer. And my wife likes how they look on me. I can wear them at work without any problem. The only criticism (or perhaps this is a wish) is that the laces could be easier to tighten and loosen.

SirGCal Kyle,  TX Good but not pefect I have Multiple Sclerosis which affects my strength and a light weight boot was critical for me. A heavy boot wears me out in seconds. This passes that test. Highlights: Extremely Comfortable Light Weight Secure Could use a zipper CONCLUSION: Stars: (1-5) Initial out of the box: 4 Foot Install: 2 (shoe horn would help a lot) Safety: 5 (good armor on heal, ankle, and sole, solid leather all the way around. Very secure to the foot) Riding Experience: 5 (movement, but solid security) Comfort: 5 (I never expected a riding boot to be this comfortable. I'd give it a 6 if I could.) Foot Extraction: 3 (the wife gets a good laugh) Heat/Cooling: 4 (so far minimal sweating, this might change however in the summer)

Bill San Rafael,  CA Love the boots I did a lot of research on boots before I bought. These boots are great! I did go 1/2 size up from my normal size after reading reviews and they fit perfectly. Ryan Snoqualmie,  WA Icon Superduty 3 I wear a size 12 shoe. The fit is true to my size. It was a tight fit at first, but after a couple weeks they formed snuggly around my feet. John L. Gilroy,  CA Best Boots Ever!!!! These boots were very comfortable right out of the box, there soft yet very steady leather feel great on my feet, no discomfort what so ever. They feel like a pair of nicely broken in pair of Nike's shoes. The sole's are nice and soft, yet have superb traction on any surface wet or dry. Great protection for your ankle's with little to no restriction or discomfort. I will be buying another pair very soon. It’s hard to find a comfortable boot that looks, feels, and protect your feet. These do all that and more.

Keith Galeton,  PA Exceed expectations! Let me begin by saying I have the some of the most sensitive feet in the world. I can seldom buy shoes or boots that don’t hurt my feet in some way. So with that I didn’t have high expectations for comfort when I ordered the ICON Superduty 3 boots. I wanted a pair of motorcycle boots and if they were tolerable I would consider it acceptable. I received my boots a week ago. Upon opening the box I was immediately impressed with the quality look of the packaging and the product. The boots were wrapped in a fabric for protection rather than tissue paper. When I examined the boots I noticed the leather was very soft and pliable not the stiff leather one would associate with a boot of any kind. The quality of the craftsmanship was evident as well. Okay great but how do they feel? I kicked off my shoes and slipped on a boot. I had ordered my usual size only because the next half size was not available. The next half size would have been absolutely perfect but these were not too bad. After adjusting the laces and the strap I found them to be pretty comfortable. Yeah okay the initial impression is good but what about after having them on for an hour or two. So I wore them around the house as I did an inside project. These boots were so soft and pliable that virtually no break in is needed. They were comfortable right out of the box. Oh and they look great too! So I decided to wear them to work and have been wearing them all week. Bottom line is I love these boots. My feet do not hurt at all wearing them. Oh yeah they are motorcycle boots, I almost forgot. I took a ride wondering how they would perform and they are great there too. I experienced no interference with the shifting and feel on the brake was good. Temperature during the ride was in the mid 40’s and my feet were toasty warm. I wish I had been able to get a half size over usual and the laces should be longer other than that I am delighted with these boots.

Mjay North Del,  DE Do your feet a favor... Buy a half size bigger, or if you plan on wearing thick socks or double sweat socks for winter, buy a full size bigger. Trust me. I have the brown version on right now and the tightness on top of my feet is crazy. I bought a 1/2 size bigger and adjusted the straps. I'm sure they'll loosen up soon. My black rubber shifter did mark the boot quickly. The leather cleaned up good, but the hard rubber on top held the stain. I should have bought black. The sole on the brown ones should be a dark color... They'll be dark soon.

jaredXwoodsman Tewksbury,  MA Nice boots When I first bought these boots they were very tight and figured they'd have to break in. Sure enough after a couple rides they did. I'm surprised how comfortable they are. My one very minor gripe is I had a lace come apart for no reason. No big deal, ran to the store and replaced them. Other than that no complaints. Even rode with them on in the rain and the boot didn't shrink. Which is always a plus.

Gary Neosho,  MO Icon SD 3 Boots The boots fit to size (once I figured out the straps are adjustable!) and are really comfortable. While not as much protection as a full race or touring boot they do have ankle protection and they blend in well with casual business clothing. I do wish they had a zipper like the Icon Field Armor as lacing and unlacing can be a pain. Also, the laces are short but usable. I guess that does keep them out of the way.

Jon Venice,  CA Perfect for commuting These boots are the perfect combination of extra protection and all day comfort. I was looking for a boot that gave better protection than the Doc Martens I was wearing before, but also comfortable enough that I can wear them all day at work without having to change shoes. Todd LaBrie Agoura Hills,  CA Great boots I got these for Christmas and because I have wide feet I was a little worried. Though they do fit a little snug, they are still very comfortable—like a snug Nike sneaker. Not sure what the others are complaining about. Boots almost never fit me right, so I count myself lucky with these. Everything manufactured in Asia runs too small, I don't know why they can't correct this. Anyway. Great quality—good fit. I tried a half size larger in a store, and it felt nearly the same. Take your chances and I'd say go half a size up. Laces are too short—can't imagine why.

koob st paul,  MN To Tight This shoe is just too tight on the top arch of the feet. I could not wear regular socks and have to resort to thin dress shoe socks. I bought the shoe one whole size larger than I normally wear. The top is just too tight even though there is 1/2 inch space for my toes. Very uncomfortable to wear. If I wear it to work I have to bring a pair of shoes to change into. There is constant pressure on the top of the foot.

Jim Lamz slidell,  LA Very disappointed. This was the fourth motorcycle boot I have purchased and I am very disappointed. I previously purchased the earlier generation of the Icon boot and like it except that the rubber support on the shift toe did not line up with the shifter on any of my bikes. I don't like the Superduty boot because it is a huge boot, very wide and looks like Frankenstein should be wearing it. Instead of having eyelets for the laces, the laces go through loops inside by the tongue, so the face of the boot opens up when you snug up the laces. Dumb design

choochoo Placentia,  CA Excellent form, fit and function The initial build quality looks strong and durable. It looks and feels well made. It has a subtle stylish look that you can wear around the office all day and would fit in as business casual. My khakis fit around it. The fit is comfortable, as a boot it feels relatively light and comfortable walking boot. There's a lot of good ankle, heal and toe protection. Eusun Fair Haven,  NJ These Boots were made for riding!!! My 1st pair, I’m not a legitimate rider YET...the boots fit very nicely - exactly to size! They seem pretty durable and are easy to put on and off. They don't slip on or off, but are easily tied and then buckled. Nice oil resistant soles which are red (nice accent against the black). I'll tell you more AFTER I've actually rode around in them about the overall durability and effectiveness. Finish is dull as I suppose leather is supposed to be. They are very nice looking boots; you can wear it whether you're riding or not- that is why I chose them. Cool stuff. Comfortable. Go for it!

Todd Agoura Hills,  CA Love Em Usually I end up wearing regular boots for comfort and looks. These are the coolest motorcycle boots ever. I actually wear them walking around because they look so good. Not the typical stiff, high-tech, ugly, wobbly, space boot thing. These look like they are made to be seen. They started off a little tight, which worried me because I typically have to return boots, but they stretched out to be a perfect snug, yet amazingly comfortable fit. I hope they don't ever stop making these, because I'd buy another pair in a second.
