I bought these pads to replace cheaper knee pads that came with a pair of pants I have. They barely fit in the pad pockets. They fit perfect on my knees and give me more protection. They would fit fine on elbows too if that is what you need. Just make sure the pad pocket they go in can fit a larger pad.
