Highly recommended
I know it's personal preference, however I prefer an under the jersey padded vest like the AXO Air Cage Pro over a rooster deflector. I think it fits better, offers better protection and is cheaper than buying a rooster deflector, kidney belt and elbow pads separately. This AXO Air Cage Pro is highly adjustable. I ordered a medium, which I think is overall a little smaller than I should have ordered, however b/c of the range of adjustability, I was able to adjust it to fit me perfectly, with a little room to grow. I really like the thumb holes. They keep the forearm and elbow pads from riding up your arm. I highly recommend this product...great quality at a great cost!

Great mix of function and comfort
This suit is very comfortable. All of the padding is hung on a very porous, but strong, mesh fabric. The suit is infinitely adjustable, with many velcro straps and zippers.
A key selling feature to me was the mammoth CE rated back protector. I use this for dual sporting, so I wanted something that was going to protect my back in case of an asphalt spill on my way to or from the trail. I don't want to injure any part of my body, but I'd much rather deal with a broken arm than a broken back.
The sleeves (and integrated elbow/forearm guards) are removable for hot weather ... though you'd either then have to ride without elbow protection or add some external elbow guards ... which would defeat the purpose of removing the sleeves. I like the thumb loops on the sleeves ... a nice feature to keep the sleeves perfectly in place.
Air flow is good and I wear a wicking undershirt, which is a perfect combo.
The back guard is removable and you can wear it by itself. Chest protection is good, but not as complete as a traditional roost guard. The integrated kidney belt is awesome and has some padding that extends down on your hips.
Definitely one of the best pressure suits out there. Loads of protection, very comfortable, amazing air flow, and definitely not one of the most expensive ones (though it's not cheap, either). Would definitely buy again.

Killer Cage
I was unsure about moving away from the tried and true chest protector, but I really didn't want to deal with that hard plastic thing moving all over the place if (when) I crashed. After road racing, I learned the value of these things and sure enough that value transfers well into the dirt. Super product with a great build quality, more comfortable than the chest protector with added protection.
