Metzeler ME 880 High Mileage Touring Front Tire

  • Built to handle the higher loads and handling characteristics of cruiser and touring bikes
  • Front tires feature rounded tread profile for smooth, neutral steering
  • Computer-designed tread pattern with offset groove alignment for uniform wear characteristics, low noise
  • Tread pattern has excellent water displacement ability and stability over rain grooves and under hard braking


**Note: 80/90H-21 tire is a tube type design

Bob Woodbridge,  VA Great tires for GL1800 Much better than stock tires that came mounted on bike. Much smoother transitions in turns. Very positive grip at all lean angles (I like the twisties, so I lean over a lot). Only rode in the rain once since purchase, but again great grip and cornering. Only put 2200 miles on this month. I would buy again.

Ron Portland,  OR ME 880 Marathon Touring ME 880 Marathon Touring Front Tire. In my opinion this is best tire for the money. You cannot ask for a better overall handling tire. I just completed a 2600 mile trip and I found this tire to handle all types of road surfaces. In the cornering department you couldn’t ask for a tire which will give you a sure grip on hot slick road surfaces along with wet tire traction all in one tire. For the money without going to some exotic high breed tire which will break your bank! I will place my life with the ME 880 Metzler tire.

Mike Chionchio West Mifflin,  PA Metzeler=ME 880 Touring So far I like the tire I only have about 1,800.miles on it for the last month with very little rain driving so I can't really comment on wet traction or tire life time will tell.
