Steve Darr Toledo,  OH Good replacement for my R100/7 Since you can no longer get a less sporting Metzler for the old Beemers I thought I would give this "vintage" tire a try to replace my old ME99. The bike is old, I am old, so I didn't really need a peg-dragging S-rated tire. This is a commuter bike driven mostly to work with little hwy riding. Mounted it myself on the Lester mag, which was an easy job. Seems to handle fine, but unfortunately I don't have curves on my way to work, just corners. I expect good wear, as my other rear Metzlers have gone at least 12K mi. I used to run the old Continentals, so the new tires are way ahead of the capabilities of a 77 R bike. Well pleased so far. Good price and service from this vendor.

Larry Bismarck,  ND Metzeler - ME 77 Vintage Line Rear Tire Removed and replaced my own tire, recommend a new tube right away as careful as you can be things happen. Appears to be a good product. Can’t rate it on tread life or wet traction because haven’t used tire that much
