Todd W Santa Fe,  NM Super light weight and waterproof The perfect travel cover for my KLR. I have a gel seat with spandex (?) cover that's a sponge when rain hits it. I also keep a cordura tail bag on at all times and believe me, and cordura is just not very water resistant. So this half cover is perfect, it packs down really small, not taking up any real room in my tail bag, and it's WATERPROOF. So no matter where I go, I can throw this cover on, really quickly, and take off really quickly, very convenient. The XL size was a good fit for my KLR 650. Also I like the super reflectivity of the material, almost chrome like, keeps more heat away from the bike in the summer sun. I didn't give it a high durability rating for the obvious reason that I just bought it, and would have left this field blank if the review template would have allowed, so I just put the rating in the middle at 3. But Nelson-Rigg only gives it a 1-year warranty, as opposed to the 5 year I got on another cover of there's, so that let's you know what they think. The cover is almost sheer feeling, but I think I'll get some good life out of it. And what the heck, $39.99 is a good value for the protection and convenience.

Obi-Wan Capon Bridge,  WV Good inexpensive cover This is a perfect cover for the price. I needed something to cover the top part of the bike (seat, instruments) like a bikini cover for when we go on road trips. I use it to keep the moisture and dust off overnight when camping. It works great in the rain and folds up nice and small to fit in the luggage easily and not take much room. It would be nice if it had a soft surface inside for the windshield, but a towel works fine. I went with recommended size and it fits great. "It is not just a bike!"

FJRider Portland,  OR Works Good - Lasts Long Time This is the second that I've purchased. The first one was used every work day for 3 years, rain or shine, on my commuter bike a V-Strom 650. When I retired and bought an FJR for travel the same cover (large) fit it as well. When I finally ripped a hole in it I ordered a second one immediately which, judging by the wear and tear I put on the first one, should last a lifetime in my retirement.

Michael M Roseburg,  OR UV-2000 cover great value for the money This is my second UV-2000. The first traveled on a 6500 mile, 11 state trip last year and held up through hail, rain, and northern plains winds without a complaint from me. The perfect travel companion -- nothing like getting up in the morning to a dry windshield and seat. It folds up small into it's enclosed cover, and covers enough of the bike on a trip to keep vital areas dry and out of sight of the curious. The elastic hem fits snug and I never had it fail to stay on and protect the bike. It went on over hot pipes without a problem. Sometimes I had to think about which end went over my windshield. I bought another one after dropping the first one in a container of old oil -- not the cover's fault. I liked it enough to buy another.

Dave Washington,  DC Great travel cover I bought this half cover for a road trip I was taking around the midwest on my sportster. I had a standard windshield on the bike and the cover fit over no problem. It worked great for keeping rain off my bike and seat. It doesn't cover the lower half of the bike completely obviously but worked perfect for quick and temporary protection.
