Debbie Gassen Loveland,  CO Chatterbox Communicator These are great. We have used them for 10 years and they are a required part of our riding. We can talk about the scenery as we ride, listen to our music, and just let each other know what hazards are on the road or where to turn if we get separated in traffic.

Doward Kohler Longview,  WA Chatterbox FRS-X2 I was looking for a nice glove, and since these came in pink I had to have them. Nothing really special, they stretch a little bit, the fit is exactly as I expected, I ordered a small and they feel good. I cant be sure about durability yet, as I have only had them a month, but I would surely buy another pair!

Jack Kidd Largo,  FL ChatterBox FRS-X2 Although the form and fit of the units seems good the volume generated into the earpieces is totally insufficient to overcome ANY type of noise (ambient, wind, whatever) in the environment. It is barely loud enough even sitting in the living room with NO noise. I was very pleased, however, that the SuperStore refunded my money with no questions asked. For that reason I would shop with them again.

Durriel Tampa,  FL Does it's job :) I've used the X1 w/ bluetooth, but I wanted a 2nd unit for whenever I have a passenger. After doing all the research I knew that this was the best bet if you don't need the bluetooth. And it does its job perfectly. Now whenever the group rides even my passenger can get in on the convo :D I'll admit the installation can get somewhat annoying, but it’s only a matter of seeing exactly where to mount the mic and speakers. That's virtually nothing though. All in all I'd give this a perfect 5 out of 5 and recommend it to everyone that doesn't need the bluetooth capability

Gumby Sacramento,  CA ChatterBox - FRS-X2 Noise Reducing Communicator Kit I have a total of 3 Chatterboxes and I can't live without them on any of my helmets. They do make sense and they are practical when traveling in general. One thing though, make sure that you get a few extra clips for your chatter. RuffRyders

John Willis,  TX Chatterbox This radio was bought to replace one that was stolen with my wife's helmet. Our original radios were bought at Christmas 2003. The rechargeable batteries have been replaced one time. Other than that they have been trouble free. We use the "push to talk" button on the unit. We gave up on the VOX. We ride separate Harleys and with wind and muffler noise it is hard to set them up so that they are voice activated without coming on when not talking, but the push to talk works fine. We love the fact that we can communicate if needed. The lower the speed, the lower the wind noise and the better the conversation can be. I have used the MP3 player input as well as the passenger intercom on mine. It all works good. We consider them essential equipment.

Debbie S Tabernacle,  NJ PTT needed over 40 MPH We've used the FRS-X2 Noise Reducing Communicators for a while, and once you get over 40 MPH, they key all the time with the VOX. You have to hook up the PTT buttons on your handlebars in order to stop the wind from constantly keying them. The PTT helps. It's a bit annoying to unhook and reconnect the PTT wire to the communicators, but unless you're doing very local, low-speed riding, they're a must with open-face half or 3/4 helmets.

Celia Lynn Albuquerque,  NM Chattering Away We use these headsets to communicate bike-to-bike. We've used them a few times so far, and we're very satisfied with the audio quality. We used the handlebar attached PTT buttons and they work well. We haven't been able to find the right setting to use the VOX feature. If the mic is turned up too high, it picks up everything and we can't hear each other. If the mic is too low, it doesn't pick up our voices. The helmet clip was really difficult to install securely on my Shoei RF1000 helmet, but easy to install on my partner's Scorpion helmet. To get it securely on my helmet we had to wedge in an extra piece of rubber. So far that has been a good solution. The speaker installation varies with your type of helmet. I had nice pockets to set them in, but the other helmet didn't have the same straightforward pockets. Still, the speakers set in the helmet just fine. We bought the audio cords to listen to our iPods, but they haven't been the best fit for the iPod. They sometimes cut out. We also purchased the extensions but haven't used them because the helmet attachment has worked fine so far. I would recommend this product.
