Leonard Williams Salina,  KS Tourmaster Epic Jacket Overall I like the jacket but for the price some things could be better. I'm a big guy and the 2x jacket fits fine except for the forearms. With the quilted liner in the forearms border on too tight. The shoulder/arm vents leak air when closed. The collar anchor snap isn't a snap, it's Velcro and it doesn't hold the collar tab securely. The back brace is cumbersome to use and isn't strong enough to give much support. All other features work as advertised and I especially like the roomy pockets and the zippered hand warmer. I got the yellow and people can damn sure see me now.

Joe Gibbs Boone,  IA First Textile Jacket I read a lot of reviews on this jacket before buying one. While it has a bunch of nice features it is hot when not moving. Warm when riding behind a windscreen. I sent my jacket back after only 2 weeks of riding account the right sleeve seam began to unravel. Got the jacket back and it looked as though they just took a hot iron to it. After another week of riding it's doing the same thing. Not real happy with it now.

Eldon H. Cook Hereford,  AZ Close to perfection The Tour Master - Epic Jacket represents a good value for the money and a jacket that fits many, but not necessarily all, purposes. The wife and I both selected this line and we are pleased. I wanted a jacket that I could use year around here in Arizona and this jacket comes close. I haven't had a chance to try it out in the rain, but it appears that it will shed (at least) light rain. The cost of doing so is that it tends to be hot in anything above 80 degrees. Vents are provided, but they are of little use when walking around while taking a break. I pulled out the inner lining but it was still too hot for summer. On the plus side of things, the workmanship is above average, the yellow (almost lime green) day-glow color is easily seen, and there are enough features to keep a person occupied for quite awhile. One thing I'd like to see is a "military approval" tag (if it qualifies for one) so I wouldn't have to wear anything extra to get on base. It has to be close here; it also has some, but not a lot, of nighttime reflective material. In summary, for around $250 a rider can get a jacket that can cover not all, but almost all conditions he or she is likely to encounter.

niles fairview,  MT great jacket Fit is a little snug, with all the adjustments for size might want to go next size bigger. The jacket kept me warm in 45 degree weather on my gas. I really like the way the jacket is designed, has lots of nice features. Haven't tried out the air scoops. Great quality.

Paul King Collierville,  TN Tour Master Epic Jacket - meets my needs I have been looking for a textile jacket and pant combination to replace my Aerostich Roadcrafter jacket and pants. The Aerostich is too tight when I'm layered up underneath. I looked at the Aerostich Darien - too expensive and lacks contemporary features. I tried both the Firstgear generation 3.0 and 4.0 Kilimanjaro, but didn't get a good fit with any size combo. Then I tried the new Firstgear Kathmandu jacket and pants. The jacket was a little tight and the pants too long for my waist size. The Tour Master Epic Jacket paired with the Caliber pants with various lengths per waist size are the perfect combination. The jacket features are enormous, my favorites are the tons of vents, soft collar and collar anchor, the velcro secondary closure over the front zipper instead of snaps, the pocket arrangement. It is comfortable with liner at 40 degrees, and with no liner, semi-vented at 70 degrees. No experience yet in upper 80s or 90s. Have a bit of fraying already on one arm, the reason for the 4 rating on durability. A great jacket overall!

Leonard Erquiza Providence Forge,  VA Excellant Jacket I have been looking for a cold weather jacket and i found it here. The Epic fit very well and the Bush Pocket flaps make it easy to open with cold weather gloves on. I rode home from a friend’s house 60 miles away in 30 degree temps and stayed warm the entire trip. I wore it a couple weeks ago without the liner in 50 degree temps and was still comfortable.
