Glacier Gloves
The gloves are beautiful. I was a little worried when I first tried them on. They were a little snug and stiff. But they're all leather and softened up with use and got more flexible. Not as comfortable as summer gloves, but work well with the heated grips. I wear summer gloves down to about 40 degrees then switch to these. They heat up a little slower but keep you warm until the grips take over. My hand measures 9 3/4 and I bought XL.

Nice gloves
These are pretty nice gloves. I wouldn't use them In weather less than 40 degrees without heated grips through. They are very water proof, a 60 mile ride in a complete down pour @ 45 degrees and my hands were completely dry and were just starting to get chilly on the tail end of the ride. The ride home was 34 degrees and a rain snow mix, my hands were dry but plenty cold after 15 miles. I LOVE the gauntlet of these gloves! This is the first pair I have owned that go over the cuff of a jacket without fuss and can be tightened easily with a gloved hand. Thumbs up Firstgear! Between these gloves and the HT 2.0 overpants I recently bought I have to say that Firstgear makes some great stuff! I would buy these gloves again!

Glacier Glove
Overall, I like these gloves, but after using them about for about 12 short rides to work & around town I see that the stitching that holds the "Velcro" to the body of the gauntlet is all ready coming apart, great for the intended purpose, but poor quality so far.

firstgear -- glacier glove
My hands freeze if the weather is even in the low 40s, to say nothing of colder. These gloves do NOT keep me very warm; they are hardly better in that crucial respect than my ordinary gloves. They are handsome and comfortably configured, but given the claims regarding protection against the cold--which is the main reason I purchased them-- and given the price, which I assumed had to do with their unique quality in this regard, I could hardly be more disappointed. I would not recommend these at all.
