Tim Franks Kouts,  IN All around good helmet The helmet arrived in three days. The helmet box seemed to have been returned at some time. There were stickers on the box. The helmet had a chip in the paint on the mouth guard. I am very happy with the helmet other than that. I attribute the condition of the helmet to the fact it was a discontinued color. I figure I must have gotten the last one.

Dan Fort Collins,  CO Scorpion VX-17 - a good helmet at a good price This helmet replaces an older O'Neal. The Scorpion VX-17 has a nice interior, comfortable padding and fabric, and fits my head quite well. There is plenty of clearance in the front for my chin, and my Spy goggles fit perfectly. The fit and finish are good for a low cost helmet, although the front chrome piece came loose (I super glued it), and the top Scorpion emblem fell off when I dropped my bike on it (don't ask). It is one of the few white, undecorated helmets available. For the money (I paid $116), it's a screaming deal. This place sells other VX-17 versions for under $100, which is unbelievable. So far, the helmet is working well for me on both the trail and occasional street use.
