Mike Philppi,  WV great tire for mostly road I run this tire on my BMW R1150GS, a big dual sport bike. I've run several sets of tourance tires and have been pleased. I think they say something like 70% on, 30% off road. I have a steep gravel drive and the tires do fine there but on my big bike that's as much off road as I would want with this tire. I got about 9000 miles on the last rear. I'll get a few thousand more on the front. The front tends to wear a bit uneven on my bike and get a bit noisy in the turns as it nears the end of it's tread life. Odd but not a problem.

Richard Newport,  NH Metz Tourance Fantastic tire it is the only tire I will buy for my R1150GS. They last the longest perform the best. I ride mostly 85% on pavement 10% dirt roads 5% off road. I get about 8000 miles on them.

Mike Mathews Simpsonville,  SC Metzeler Tourance Tires (Not EXP) I recently used one set of Metzeler tires on a 14,000 mile journey from Istanbul, Turkey to Xian, China continuing from Seattle, WA to my home on the east coast of US. I rode my Triumph Tiger, two-up with approximately 110lbs of luggage. The rear tire was just beyond the tire wear marker at 1.5mm tread when I arrived home. The tires performed very well on dirt roads, some sand roads, gravel roads, huge pot holes, and also ran smooth and quiet on sealed roads. The tires perform well in the rain and also light mud. The key to the high mileage was proper inflation. I would recommend these tires as an exceptional valve for the mileage.

Scott Rogers Fagstaff ,  AZ Metzeler tourance Traction is an illusion for dirt riding on a 600 lb bike. Everyone wants knobbies.....good luck. However, it is necessary on the slab. This tire provides the necessary traction on the tar and aint bad in the dirt. I will buy it as long as they make it.

Keetmanaa Canton,  GA Metzeler Tourance rear I put new Tourances on my DL650 V-Strom prior to going to a school that required new tires for the on track portion of their session. After hours of negotiating the 2.5 mile track I was pleased with the tire's performance. Never a slip or step out nor a brake lock up.

Brandon Hemet,  CA Tourances are Worth The Money I am continually impressed with the life my friends get out of their Tourances - even the aggressive riders. These tires have more tread depth than any comparable tire I have seen and often get more than 10,000 miles of use out of them. They hook up great, allow you to really lean over pretty aggressively, and seem to be smoother riding than my previous Bridgestone BT020 to boot. I can't say how they are in the wet, but I have heard very favorable comments regarding their wet-weather performance.

Keith Rosendahl Sun City,  CA Metzeler-Tourance Rear Tire I've got 60,000+ miles on my 2004 BMW R1150GS Adventurer. The stock tires lasted just a little over 2000 miles. I went with the Tourance after doing a little research on the internet. I made the right choice. On average Im getting 15-17,000 miles of a set of these GREAT tires. Ususally the front I can go a little longer but alway's change both out at the same time.

Michael Lary Astoria,  OR METZLER TOURANCE REAR TIRE This tire has been excellent for the wet conditions of Northwest Oregon. Great traction through the curves even in heavy rain, good traction for a 70/30 tire in the beach sand, and I got almost 9500 miles wear on a set.

Kevin Stancik Poquoson,  VA Metzler Tourance rear tire Great handling in both dry and wet conditions. Doesn't tend to roll like the Michelin Anakee did when hitting gravel in a turn. Little more road noise than the Anakee. Tires definitely want to “grab” into a turn. Took a little getting used to but now feel more confident as they track nicely.
