David Duncansville,  PA ON road only KTM 950 Super Enduro I got this set in a KTM 950 Super Enduro. They really hum at high speed going straight but handle exceptionally well on the road. Off road they handle very well except in anything wet. Wet leaves is like riding on ice and the tires handle poorly in the mud and wet grass so stay away if you plan on doing any real enduro riding. Could just be a heavier bike on mud or grass is going to handle poorly anyway but I think this tire is not for the KTM Super Enduro...you have a real aggressive bike get an aggressive tire. NOTE>>> rating scale needs improvement.

Scott Hendersonville,  TN Stay away from mud momentum won't take you through. Great tire all around on dirt gravel performs well. In mud wet conditions off road be very careful. Mud is very slick, no good traction. Stay away from mud where momentum won't take you through. The front wheel doesn't bite, it slides. I think I need a full on knobby for the wet mud. They look great, if you stay out of single track mud you'll be fine.

marco salas crescent city,  CA great tire! I bought a matching set for my XR650L and love em. I ride mainly asphalt and fire roads. Traction is great on the loose rock/gravel. Traction on grass and wet dirt/mud leaves much room for improvement. If you ride mainly on the road with the occasional trail the tires perform well. Keep in mind that these tires run narrow so if you like wide get the widest one they offer.

Kevin McCarty New Bloomfield,  PA Great Tires I have been a Metzeler fan for a long time but have only recently started running the Sahara tire. I'm running them on an 08 Husky 610 TE dual sport with 95% of my time spent on the road back and forth to work. I have around 2,300 miles on these tires and have lost maybe 1/3 of the original tread depth. They do sing a bit at speed while traveling a straight path. The whine goes away with the least bit of lean into the corners though. I have put several hundred miles on these tires on high mountain gravel roads and they are well behaved on both tight and loose gravel/dirt road surfaces. I find them to be a very predictable tire. They have good grip on dry and wet road surfaces. These are not a deep mud tire! They do however live up to their 50/50 rating. The Sahara’s are my future tires of choice.

C. Tibbs Las Vegas,  NV Enduro 3 Sahara I love my tire so much that I have not even put it on yet! Amazing tire over 2 months and absolutely no wear... Jason Crawford Horseshoe Bend,  ID So good so far... Not too many miles on them yet (500 or so), though they seem to do really well on the road and on the gravel, though if you get too much off-road they get a little slick. (Mud / not even single track) Not regretting the purchase, though hoping they last a bit longer on my KTM SuperEnduro -- as nothing really seems to last against the 950 engine much more than 1.5 - 2K.

Matt Swartz Creek,  MI Great Tire So far..... So far I have put about 1000 miles on the rear tire with minimal wear. The tire grips/performs great on the street especially wet pavement and is great for light to medium off road use; the tire is a little noisy; nothing obnoxious. I have ordered the front tire and will post back how the two perform together. I hope to get 4000-6000 miles with this rear tire and even more with the front; time will tell.

Jason Zehendner Inyokern,  CA DRZ400SM Metzeler - Enduro 3 Sahara This has been an all-around awesome experience for me. I ordered this tire through motorcycle-superstore.com and it showed up at my house in record time. I put this tire on my DRZ400SM, and it was a perfect fit. I'd been riding my DRZ about 40 miles a day with 30 of it HWY and 10 miles of it dirt and sand. The stock SuperMoto (SM) tires were fun on the road but were hell in the sand. After putting on the Sahara, I still have a blast on the road (but watch road paint, it is super slick with this tire) but I still wheelie easy, and hold turns like I’m on a rail. This tire really impressed me in sand, it obviously isn't as good as a MOTO-X but for a hybrid, good luck trying to find one that will out-perform this bad boy. I can now wheelie in dirt and on pavement, and can corner equally impressive in both as well. Don't know how long it will last, I'm hoping for around 2-3k miles...we'll see, but I love this tire!
