Terry Penn Tyler,  TX Nelson-Rigg - Gold Wing Rear Seat Pack I've owned one of these for more than 5 years and it has traveled on the back seat of my GL1800 for more than 25k miles in all kinds of weather. Would definitely purchase again. The only negative is that it is not waterproof. I overcame that by applying a silicone waterproofing for tents. Mine is now waterproof, I don't use the cover and have ridden thousands of miles in the rain.

David Dixon,  IL GWS-500 not quite there yet The GWS-500 bag concept is great, but does not have Foam construction on all sides as described. It also is only nylon lined on the front, back and bottom. The top and the sides are not lined, this also is the area that has no foam. The bag is about an inch too wide to fit perfectly on the back seat. The outside finish is good, but the handles could use more re-enforcement. It also did not come with an internal rain cover, it did come with an external which I prefer. It could use a wet bag to put wet items in. There is a plastic sleeve in the front compartment to place a map or other documents, but you must stop and dismount to be able to read a map.
