Dan Richmond,  VA Spend more for better product I ordered this bag to replace one from several years before. It looked similar, same brand, but one big difference. This one only had five magnets. These are very weak magnets. Four at the corners and one in the middle. The middle one was pointless, because it was over the gas cap and the ones in the corner barely made contact all at once. Apparently, it only works if your tank is completely flat. Wish it had flaps with extra magnets to help secure it. I tried to move the bag around with some small items in it and the corners always lifted away from the tank. Needless to say, I returned it for something much better.

Sport Tourer Seattle,  WA FG Onyx Tank Bag All in all a very good product. It's pretty much a box so it works best if you have a fairly flat tank. It works acceptably on my FJR1300 and my SV650. The Velcro closure for the map pocket is a bit strong -- takes 2 hands or you'll simply lift the bag off the tank. The magnets seem to hold it in place very well, I use the safety strap but it's probably not needed.

Jim Houston,  TX Overall good product with some minor flaws Overall this is a good product. It's a little big for my Honda Rebel, so I'd recommend using it on a bike with a larger tank than 2 gal. Positives: map window, lots of storage space, rain cover, carrying handle. Negatives: very difficult to zipper (with or without gloves), weird strap at top should clip around something in case magnets fail but it's too small to reach anything on my bike.
