scorpion sync on bmw rockster
Good on fire trails, in the city and tarmac. Versatile, predictable on wet and dry, worthy. Tires do not last long, compound too soft for a heavy 525lb+ bike. Not many other options if you want a tire that does it all in this size. I've tried other high end sport touring tires, yes they last longer, but they do not offer the off road capability when I need 3-4x's per year. This is my second consecutive set and I will buy this tire again.

Pirelli - Scorpion Sync Front Tire
This tire sits as my back tire. Have used it for a month now. Heats up good even on a 200 pound bike. NO idea wear but expect for it to be good, good on cornering and twisties. The ride is very smooth. The brakes have not yet locked up with the tire so I give it a five.

love the syncs
Had the rear for about 4000 miles and the front for 1000 on my Buell Firebolt. Handling is far better than the cheapos the guy I bought the bike from had on there, but not as good as the diablo model. Duability of the sync is much better though. Can just now start to see wear in the rear.

Pirelli are King
I mounted these radical pieces of rubber on my Husqvarna 610 SM. Known in my neighborhood as the wicked one. I put these tires to the test on a weekly basis dominating the streets of PIttsburgh. Thank you motorcycle superstore for being such a great company and keep products like this in mind for serious riders.

You Get What You Pay For
Simply put: A strong, long lasting tire. A little higher in price than other tires in the same league, but by my experience Pirelli's reliability and durability is unmatched; a true case of you get what you pay for. I've tried other tires, even the new dual-compound stuff, but always came back to scorpion sync's on a BMW 12GS, Ducati Multistrada, and currently on a Triumph Tiger 1050. Outstanding wet and dry grip, very smooth, and even wearing assuming your tire balancing is correct. The pitch of the front tire allows for quicker response in the twisties as well - far more responsive than Pilot Roads.

Kawasaki Versys 2008. Pirelli Scorpion Sync
For a Kawasaki Versys 2008. Bike feels completely different. Much more stable by far, as the original Dunlop’s. Excellent grip, get curves smoothly and solid like train. Don't need to fight with the bike anymore. Durability cannot say anything about yet.

Sync leading the way
Having had this tire on a month now, part of a new set of Syncs, they have proven to be worth their weight. All kinds of riding, highway, canyon carving, SNOW!! They have held very well, never let go without warning, and look to be wearing very. Look forward to getting more then 1500 miles on a set of tires that look to be able to handle everything I am throwing at them.

Great tire for Buell sporty standard bikes
Got the tire just in time to mount for a track day at Mid Ohio, where the syncs performed perfectly, all the way to the point where I was dragging a knee and scraping pegs (which on a XB9SX is getting ***way*** over) with no slipping and no drama. Smooth and predictable lean, plenty of stick for any kind of rational street riding, enough grip to keep up with the "fast novice" guys on a track day. And to top it off, they don't go all wobbly kneed if you are in gravel or wet grass. I get at least 9k miles out of a front, and at least 6k out of a rear, with hard street use and one track day. A fantastic pick for a tire for rationally powered sporty standard bike (i.e. Buell XBS, Ulysses, XT, Multistrada, SV, Hypermotard, etc). I wish it were cheaper, that’s a lot of money for just one tire, but it is very competitively priced relative with tires that are far worse.
