Darrell Young St. John's,  NL Not a Bad Sheild I use this shield on the Shoei X-Eleven helmet, and using it with the quick release system makes it a snap, literally, to switch from the clear shield to the dark smoke shield, 15 seconds at most. Whichever shield I'm not using I just store away in the hard saddle case on the M109. I even find the dark smoke shield isn't too bad at night with a few street lights around. No noticeable wind noise difference between shields.

CL LA,  CA must have accessory I bought the Dark Smoke Visor thinking that it was going to be too dark, but it proved me wrong. It is dark enough on the outside so that weird people can't see you when they stare, but light enough on the inside so that you can see perfectly at any time of the day. I do not hear any extra wind noise with this visor...it sounds the same as the clear one. I have no doubt that it makes any helmet look better.

Brian mad hts,  MI med smoked shield It is awesome, I love it. Good for sunny days and even at night. It does seem to leek a little but i can live with it. Would recommend it to anyone.

Bob Hittenberger Phoenix,  AZ Shoei Dark Bronze Shield This shield is awesome. From the outside it looks really dark which is cool. From the inside all you notice is that you're not squinting and there is no glare. I wear prescription glasses but don't have sun glasses yet. This shield worked perfectly. No need to keep switching glasses when you go indoors. Didn't ride much at night but I personally don't think it's too dark for night riding.
