Fitting sizes are small, thankfully I ordered a larger size than I would normally order (rather than a med ordered an xl), a little big but better than to small. Nice match, not exact but very close.

Danette Dayton,  OH Great Riding Pants I just had the opportunity to test my pants on a 1,000 mile weekend ride. Weather ranged from downpour and cool to hot and sunny and to cold and moist. They held up very well! I did pair them up with a Tour-Master rain suit in the downpour (not taking any risks). They are very easy to put on and take off around the boots. They fit well (I wear a yoga pant style under them). They look great, you still feel like a girl in them. I would just like to see some additional color options for the future. Thanks!

A. Galvan Santa Rosa,  CA Joe Rocket - Women's Alter Ego Pants I love these pants! They actually fit like normal pants and look good too! I think the sizing runs a little small though. I normally wear a 10 in jeans and I ordered a size large. I was able to wear long johns and a pair of jeans under the pants (rather snugly) but I had to take the liner and hip pads out. If I was wearing the liner and hip pads I could only fit the long johns underneath. I also loved the adjustable hem! My old pants were too short when I was on the bike and my legs would freeze or I'd look dumb because my jeans were hanging out! And my boyfriend loves them on me. What else could you want?

Jay Salem,  OR Try before purchase After a long search for riding pants for my wife we came across the Alter egos. They really are quite flattering, especially compared to most of the women's pants out there but she had 1 pretty major fit issue- the pockets for the knee armor are way too high up on the leg, even in the lowest position. We tried the next size up and they were too big in the waist and still the armor hit her about 3-4" too high up. Otherwise they look like they will be great pants. Our solution was to buy some strap-on type knee/shin guards to wear underneath the pants and discard the supplied armor.

Brandi Seattle,  WA Joe Rocket Alter Ego pants I've been wearing the Alter Ego pants over jeans this winter with temperatures in the 40s and have been happy with them. These versatile pants have a lot of features and adjustability for fit. I feel safe in them with the hip and knee armor. I was slightly disappointed in the quality of the zippers, for the price I expected more heavy duty or YKK zippers. These are a little chintzy in my opinion but other than getting a little stuck a couple times they haven't been any problem. Sizing was as expected for overpants, I chose medium which is normal for me and they are plenty roomy to fit over my jeans without feeling restriction when sitting on the bike. The knee armor was a little stiff at first but it has broken in with wear.

Melody Hetrick Grantsville,  MD These pants ROCK!! These were my very first bike purchase...bought them in the spring so I could ride in low temps (42 degrees!) and have been no less than delighted!! They are plenty long enough to fit my 34 inch inseam...waterproof with the liner. and I personally felt they were plenty large enough to wear extra stuff underneath...I did purchase the next size up from my jeans size, though, just for that purpose...all in all, LOVE these pants!!!!

Jenn Kamloops,  BC Crashed in these! Have/had a pair of these pants, loved the fit with the matching jacket but they do fit small. Even with the 2xl (I am a size 11/12 normally) I could only fit long johns underneath. I would recommend these but wear jeans underneath or really high boots to protect below the knee in the event of a crash!
