Andreas Redondo Beach,  CA Very High Quality These were the first Alpinestars leather clothing that we ordered and what a pleasant surprise. The quality is just beyond excellent and these pants look sooo much better than on the picture. Unfortunately lengthwise there are not enough size options.

Maggie Seattle,  WA Great Basic Pants I have worn these pants every day for several months and they look brand-new--very durable. Knee armor is a little low, as several other reviews have mentioned, but works fine in riding position. Nice high waist and excellently placed stretch panel in the back. I wear a 6/8 in women's sizes and the 8 here fits me like a glove. Problems: upper snap does NOT stay snapped, but zipper stays up regardless, so does not affect pants. Absolutely no belt loops or pockets, so you have to carry everything in your jacket. But for this price, it's worth it.

Maggie Seattle,  WA Very basic, but very durable I've been wearing these twice a week at least for many months, and they still look brand new. Much like a previous reviewer, the belly snap doesn't hold worth a darn, but the zipper stays up fine anyway, so it's no big deal. I wear a 6 or 8 in women's sizes and the 8 in these fits me like a glove--which means it's a good incentive to STAY the same size. :) Bad things: no pockets, no belt loops, and the knee armor is also too low on me, and the pants are a little long--they have a slight tendency to catch on my foot pegs. Hitching them up before I climb on--which also puts the knee armor in the right place--fixes that. And the taffeta is a bad choice for a liner--it doesn't slide over my sweaty, unshaven legs. :) I have to wear silk long johns with these so they slide. In spite of all that, they're comfortable enough to sit down in all day, which I occasionally do at work, and wear around the house. A great buy.

Sarah Merrell Fletcher,  NC Stella Cat Leather Pants Review The pants were so tight I could barely get them on at first, but within a week they were broken in and I could wear them comfortably. I would NOT recommend these pants because they have a very high waist which is uncomfortable and even though they fit just fine in the waist, every time I lean over the snap pops open. I've even tried replacing the snap, but not even that works, which gets pretty annoying. I feel very safe in the pants thanks to the padded knees and the finish and feel is nice, but I think these pants need to be re-worked structurally so that they have a better fit in the waist. I would actually recommend Scorpion's Halley pant over the Stella Cat Pant for this reason.

carla rice cumberland,  MD Alpinestars - Women's Stella Cat Leather Pants First pair of leathers for me. Need to get them broke in and get used to the constrictions but otherwise good pants. Wish they zippered down the sides for easy on/off but all in all great pants.

Rebecca Clearwater,  FL Quality leather, some issues with function The Stella Cat pants are a beautiful smooth leather- broke in for me with a weekend of riding and a bit of wearing around the house. Overall, very comfortable, look pretty good. The biggest problem with these pants is the rise; they are VERY high rise. Even if you have extra room in the waist as I do, when you lean forward on the bike the snap they fasten with pops open without fail. Also, they are lined with taffeta, which doesn't make much sense for leather pants; I had to slit the lining in a few places to make it bend comfortably. If you're short like me, the inseam is really long and the zippers for the armor pockets end up hitting your knees at the wrong point. That said, they are very comfortable, even with no perforations; I've been wearing them in Florida summer and they aren't too hot. The leather is a great quality and the stitching is well done. I'd recommend these pants for those with slimmer figures; they run small through the hips, so if you go up enough to accommodate your hips/butt they will be very long on you.

Richard Savin New Baltimore,  MI Great Pants! These are an excellent value. The fit is small so you may want a size larger than normal but they should fit quite tight. Not only does that look good but they WILL strech out a bit. The leather is very soft and of high quality, not like that cheep leather they use on some chaps I have seen. Excellent choice for the money, she loves them!

Brandi seattle,  WA Good but not quite right for me These are decent quality leather pants, well made with good materials. Pros: they look really great and sexy and flattering. Nice, thick smooth finished leather. Closeout price was great for quality motorcycle-specific leather pants with knee armor that also look good. Cons: The high waist cut did not work for me as a cruiser rider and made these a bit uncomfortable for sitting down and leaning forward in. Maybe if I had a really flat tummy, but I don't so they sliced into my belly in riding position. Otherwise sizing seemed accurate compared to other pants and left me room for leggings or thermals underneath. I tried one size bigger however the removable but non-adjustable knee armor was then way too low for me. No pockets, belt loops or hip padding.

Sara medford,  OR Stella Leather Pants I love these pants!!! I have had them for a little over a year now and they still look brand new. They are great for cooler days and keep the wind chill out well. Comfortable to ride or walk around in and they look great on too :D!! Watch the sizing... Alpinestars leathers usually run a size small, so be wise when ordering your size!
