Geoff Shaker Heights,  OH Much, much cheaper than a pair of prescription sunglasses! I was wearing sunglasses clip-ons and fit-over oversized models. Both produced a rainbow visual anomaly that I found disturbing. I considered non-polarized prescription sunglasses ($480). I decided to give the dark smoke replacement visor a shot. It's great. Cuts the glare just great. I also don't have to fool around with switching (losing?) extra sunglasses on a road trip. Note: the Shoei diagrams and instructions are very intimidating. They couldn't be more misleading. The visor was very, very easy to install. Lift the visor. Pull the lock/release lever. Pop the old visor off. Put the new visor in the up position. Pull the release down. Snap the visor's circular hole down over the round gear post. Let go of the lever. Done.

David Jacksonville,  FL High-contrast shield for RF-800 Item fit perfectly and has been very durable thus far (one month of regular riding). The high-contrast design is great for riding in haze and low-light (or night) riding. It is a bit bright during full-sunlight, but not too much so. It wasn't cheap, but has performed well.
