Mark El Cerrito,  CA This new shield made my AGV Modular a much better helmet! Something happened! I replaced the old "Dark Smoke" shield with one that was not all scratched up and the seal on the helmet just changed radically. I have a love hate relationship with this lid, for the price its very high quality, but it has only one intake air vent, except for the chin. So I replaced the shield and all of a sudden I could feel air in places I never did before. So if this French made modular helmet is giving you trouble you might try reinstalling the shield? Who knows, it might work. I just wish they would not call any shield anti scratch, if your helmet falls off your bike and rolls on gravel nothing is going to stop it from being scratched! Keep the rubber side down.

James Zulkoski Weirton,  WV AGV -Anti-Scratch Shield for Miglia Modular Helmet The smoke shield (visor) goes on easily. It is much better than wearing sunglasses, and the tint is not too dark. Don't know about the durability.

Bruno Fremont,  CA AGV - Iridium Blue Anti-Scratch Shield This is truly a "daylight only" shield; its sometimes too dark to even consider for early morning rides if the sun isn't fully up. It will show every little finger print and is tough to clean well...I find Mequiars #18 Clear Plastic Detailer and a microfiber cloth is the only combination that provides good results. Otherwise, the shield has great optical clarity with no obvious distortions, fits exactly like the original that came with the helmet, but you really have to want a dark shield.
