FBW Tahoe City,  CA Great addition If you have a Symax II, buy this. Fit is perfect and it changes the air dynamics in the helmet very favorably. No more bugs suddenly swept inside and the helmet is quieter. Helmet will be a little warmer, but still ventilation is adequate. HJC should have included this with the original helmet, and I did not even know it was available until I saw it on the MC Superstore website.

Robert Nordmeyer Marysville,  WA Symax Chin Curtain Does not make a lot of difference in air flow upward unless I also wear my turtlefur balaclava. Then it does make a difference.

James Taylor Ramona,  CA Chin Curtain Attached easily and provides some limited sound reduction. Unfortunately, I use a Scala Rider communications set on my helmet which has a boom mic. The chin curtain interferes with the mic.

peter lincoln,  NE HJC - Chin Curtain for Symax II Helmet Fits fine, does make the helmet a bit quieter, and maybe a bit warmer in the cooler months.

Missy San Marcos,  CA Not as much protection as I'd like. I like this chin curtain because it cuts out a lot of noise when using the chatterbox with a boom microphone. However, it is much smaller than it looks. The chin curtain is maybe an inch of added material and does little to help with the chill factor for those late night rides. Perhaps, because my helmet is an XS but the curtain just barely reaches the end of my chin. Which causes it to rub so that I have to adjust my helmet so it doesn't irritate my skin.
