Tim Dunfee Willow Wood,  OH Get These - if the originals are too tight These cheekpads are about HALF THE THICKNESS of the original pads. By replacing my originals with these pads I went from a just tolerable squishy-face feel to a very comfortable fit. If you love your lid but wish you could comfortably chew gum while wearing it, this is the ticket! A word about sizing. If your helmet is size XL then order XL cheekpads, if your helmet size is M, then order M cheekpads, and so on. The sizing DOES NOT affect the thickness of the pad, only the other dimensions and the location of the mounting studs. Attempting to put a S pad in a L helmet will likely result in misaligned mounting studs and a poor fit. I learned the hard way. :(
