Nate Kuhn North Aurora,  IL Great raingear value! Spent a 300 mile day in the pouring rain wearing this jacket, and was BONE DRY afterwards. The corduroy collar is nice, and unlike some of the more nylon material rain jackets, this is a bit heavier and doesn't cling to your skin underneath when the outside is wet. For the modest price of this jacket, I wasn't expecting it to be so good. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that doesn't have raingear.

Shawn Kirkland,  WA It'll do... I got this to go over my First Gear Scout IV since it wasn't proving to deal with rain too well. For that purpose it is doing the job until I can afford a better single garment rain/protection solution. The biggest down side for me is that I wear a XLT which is available in the Scout IV, but this jacket was only available in XL, as you would think it is about 2” short in the sleeves, but does fit over my torso and the Scout IV well.
