Great for the price
I'm 6'5", 240lb and I bought the black 7-10 in an XXL. It fits snugly but well, and is very comfortable on the bike. Over the last 2 weekends, I've spent about 20 hours wearing it through pouring rain, snow and sleet, in temperatures ranging from 30-40 degrees, and it's been both warm and dry. I do wish it had a little reflective tape or something, but other than that, it's a great jacket for the price.

For a Cool Weather,
I like the classic black & Red, this jacket I enjoy the most during the winter time in Miami. It's perfect for 50 to 70 degree weather , the liner will keep you warm, however when you get to 80+ degree weather , not even without the liner you can survive.

Subtle Styling / High Quality
I really like this jacket. The outer shell is seemingly more durable than most textile jackets I have owned. I bought the red and black one and it has a smooth classic look to it. Many sources say that is one of the few truly waterproof jackets made, although I have not ridden in the rain yet. If you are debating, buy the 7-10...it's a good one!

I really like this jacket
Prior to this I had a Joe Rocket mesh jacket and it seemed bulky and a little flashy for my tastes. After researching a ton of other jackets I finally settled on the Alpinestars 7-10WP. The waterproofing is awesome. I live in San Francisco and on cool rainy winter nights I am dry and quite warm. I haven't removed the liner yet, so I can't comment on whether it will be too warm in the summer, but I think it will be fine. The only thing I wish this jacket had were reflective stripes for better visibility at night. I am planning on purchasing some sew on reflective material to stick over the white stripes...and possibly have the stripe in the front go all the way around the back.

7-10 WP Jacket
I am 6'2" and fairly thin, I had to go with a XXL to get the right length to waist and sleeve length, the only problem is now it fits fairly bulky around the core. For every increase in size you gain 1/2 an inch in length to waist and sleeve length. Great all season jacket otherwise. More of a classic look with good protection. No reflective parts.
