Tbravo Carlsbad,  CA Love my Shoei TZ-R Helmet It is very comfortable, snugs pretty well, especially when turning my head at high speeds and the lock of the shield makes me not worry that my shield will come up when turning my head on the highway. Daniel Austin,  TX Shoei Quality The helmet fits great and it's a Shoei, which is the extent of my reasoning for getting this helmet. Paying a bit more for the RF-1000 might have been a good idea, but I'm satisfied with the TZ-R. The shields are a bit pricey but very nice, and being able to have Shoei check out the helmet after a crash for free is another bonus. Quality and comfort, not a bad choice I think.

a trimble lincoln park,  MI shoei tz-r Great helmet, i have bought 2 now, one for my wife and one for me. There are cheaper helmets out there, but you get what you pay for. Shoei simply makes great helmets.

steve chicago,  IL Go with something less expensive This helmet is just okay. I got it because of the color; it's too bad no one else makes a solid orange helmet. I can usually wear a medium or large in other brands, but this one in size L barely fits. Wish I had gotten an XL. Noise is not a problem but fog most certainly is. Good aerodynamics.

Frank Todd OROVILLE,  CA GREAT HELMET! I love this helmet. It is so much better than my last. I got mine in gloss black, and it is beautiful, but rather easy to scratch, revealing a white under layer. Regardless, it fits well and has superb aerodynamics, reducing neck strain.

James Arlington,  VA Great helmet, great color! The TZ-R is a top quality helmet at a competitive price. The fit is great. I am between an L and XL in the RF1000, but the XL TZ-R fits me well. The helmet buffets little or not at all at speed. The helmet is rather quiet. In colder weather, the front vent does a good job of keeping the visor from fogging. My only complaint is that unlike my last Shoei, which attached the excess strap directly to the D-ring, the TZ-R has a different snap type fixture that attaches to the top of the strap just above the d-ring. It still works well to keep the strap from flapping around, but it is slightly harder to attach than the old system. The orange is very bright. It will get you noticed in traffic.
