Frank Todd OROVILLE,  CA GREAT HELMET! I love this helmet. It is so much better than my last. I got mine in gloss black, and it is beautiful, but rather easy to scratch, revealing a white under layer. Regardless, it fits well and has superb aerodynamics, reducing neck strain.

James Arlington,  VA Great helmet, great color! The TZ-R is a top quality helmet at a competitive price. The fit is great. I am between an L and XL in the RF1000, but the XL TZ-R fits me well. The helmet buffets little or not at all at speed. The helmet is rather quiet. In colder weather, the front vent does a good job of keeping the visor from fogging. My only complaint is that unlike my last Shoei, which attached the excess strap directly to the D-ring, the TZ-R has a different snap type fixture that attaches to the top of the strap just above the d-ring. It still works well to keep the strap from flapping around, but it is slightly harder to attach than the old system. The orange is very bright. It will get you noticed in traffic.

This is a great helmet: looks, fit and very minimal noise, almost none really and it makes you highly visible in traffic, which is critical here in southern California with all the people on their mobile phones, drinking starbucks and driviant giant SUV, ready to flatten you.

C.Marikovics Philadelphia,  AK Shoei TZ-R Orange This was my second helmet and is still my favorite. It is comfortable, quiet and highly visible. When I first rode out of the dealer parking lot wearing it I was shocked by how much quieter it was than my first helmet (a flip face model). I could finally hear my engine! I haven't found the visor lock to be that useful and I do wish it came with the breath guard because fog happens. With the breath guard (ordered separately) it is my helmet of choice for weather where fogging is likely.

Frankster Shell Point Beach,  CA Shoei TZ-R Solid Helmet Good fit, great quality, quite, and excellent value. I ordered the breath guard and gold shield to go with it and couldn't be happier. I also added gold mirror dragon decals to the Monza Red - stunning effect with the gold shield!

SteveTV Houston,  TX construction cone I got this as my first helmet based on the brand reliability and the COLOR! I love the orange and though I get ALOT of strange looks (like I’m wearing a traffic cone on my head) I get LOOKS...and that’s what I was after. This helmet stands out in traffic and feels very sturdy and protective. The only thing I wish is that it came with breathguard, like the RF 1000's come with. Other than that this is an excellent helmet! GREAT FIT TOO!
